I bet Switch 2 sells 70-80 million units. Not a disaster, but not great. I think it's going to be more of the 3DS to the DS, as opposed to the Wii U to the Wii.
I wanted a 3DS went it came out, I remember couldn't find one until April of that year. I think it will be the same here.

Fun fact, the underground map is just an inverted model of the over world map. There's even an inverted waterfall somewhere in it, they didn't bother editing it out when they flipped the model
And yet the Nintendo fags I know praise that game like it's the greatest jewel of gaming overall. TotK is just an asset flip that could be a DLC for the main game. It's ridiculous how those people prove time and time again that the corpos are right: throw shit at them and call it ice cream and they will eat.

TotK is the proof to me that BotW was insanely overhyped. Even if it was a glorified DLC, as long as the base game was good, people would have at least talked about it more than the one week after release.

I know I sure fucking take pause at buying some fucking $70 game when I can pick up an indie game that has more love and innovation put into it and will cost me $40 tops. $80 is ludicrous and Take Two can take two fists at the same time if they think I'm going to pay $100 for GTA.

Mario Kart sales will likely fall off a cliff after release and once they go through the bundle.

I think most of the Mario Kart sales will indeed be the bundle and people will have their "Mario Kart console" only to really feel the hit once they realise that there aren't that many good games on the near horizon and they all cost $80-$90. I'm talking normies here. Not autistic Nintendrones. I think it would take something so retarded the Earth would start spinning backwards in order for Nintendrones to stop consooming Nintendo.

Sure you can head over to the Nintendo Store (AKA Shovelware Central) and get Cat Chiropodist 4 for $3.99.

Seriously, the Nintendo store is one of the worst online storefronts I've ever used. Slow and buggy as fuck regardless of platform. And it's loaded with shovelware with no god way to filter garbage out. Unless you have a really good idea of what you want or it's on one of the big sales good luck finding anything.

If they could literally drop a brick on you for piracy they would. Complete with Mario sound effects.

Any idea The Switch is cheaper than the competitors is gone once you realize that the most discount Nintendo is going to give from a full price is 10%.

Out of curiosity I looked for BotW cost on the eshop and it's still 60$. Not only that, you need to pay 10$ extra to make it work on the Switch 2. Holy shit.

3DS and Wii U sold out their initial shipments leading up to launch too. Dreamcast did as well. It's not a good indicator of a system's overall success.
Someone provided this argument to me the other day as well. Fanboys always try to use this logic. Just because its sold out does not mean its successful. That will be judged years down the line, I mean if nintendo has good exclusives I could see this selling well. The issue is nintendo is making retarded decisions right now, why are they charging 10 for the demo software for the system, it literally reminds me of nintendoland so much.

If they have a solid launch window for the rest of the year and are able to stock the system well enough to where people can get it I think it will probably do well. Personally I think the biggest issue with the system is going to come down to a lack of power.
