GameXplain's Andre for Nintendo, Jez Cordin for MS, various twitter faggots for PS because they don't know how to set up a computer for youtube editting.
Wrong Andre, should have chosen Andresrestart for Nintendo, with Playeressence in number 2. How could you even forget the three way tie of RGT 85, Beatemups, and especially ImJayStation Dreamcast Guy for Sony?

Well I have never heard of the first two and think that Dreamcast guy is such a limp-wristed, insufferable faggot that I would never watch a video with him in it, not even a group chat.

In other words... PS5 is getting raped by both the Switch 1 AND Switch 2. And people don't understand how big of a deal that is.
What big deal. The PS5 is a gameless hunk of expensive hardware that even its fans are selling off right now, while the switch-U and switch are massively popular systems with hundreds on games on them, backed by a cult-like horde of drone fans. If this shit were any more predictable we would be discussing how water is wet and how people die when they are killed.

This is the first 3rd party game to use VRR and ray tracing.

I would be more impressed if Ubisoft put the whole game on a card instead of this game key card bullshit.

Aren't most AAA games unplayable without big day 1 patches anyway? If it's something you need to download then that's not much different than just needing to download the whole thing I guess. I still think the key-card shit is kinda gay and they should at least pass the savings down to the customer somehow, but it just doesn't seem especially egregious.

Why even waste the time and money porting Outlaws in the first place? No one played it on PC, no one played it on PS5, but they think Switch 2 users are going to buy it?

This YT guy dig more into the switch2 card speed problem, but when you see the Ubisoft employee..

...there might be bigger problems than the switch2 game card speeds at this company. Quality target what a joke, learn to fucking code, CDPR got Cyberpunk on the switch just fine and it was complete on the card.

Post launch the devs can just include the patches on the disk without requiring a download. Plus the patch necessity is really dependent, it could be mainly UI finetuning rather than game breaking bugs.

Tbf, there is the Redditor and "grandma buying what looks popular for grandson" markets to exploit

I just realized, DK Bonanza was (((hollywood))) goytendo doing Wreck it Ralph. They made DK into Wreck it Ralph, and Pauline into the little girl sarah silverjew voiced. They even gave this nigger suspenders...

The absolute bottom of the idea barrel is being scraped. Lame.

They have done the bare minimum to bring the game up a tier in terms of playability. Gameranx has a solid video explaining the updates. TL;DW...another major update in the vein of CP2077 could have it be a popular game.

How so?

That's true, good point.

I just hate the damn redesign and poor characterization. I can't get over it. I don't mind the little girl sidekick thing in itself.

Also, general rant about DKB here so skip it: I just beat the game yesterday and it didn't explain jack shit about how this fits in the Mario timeline. Yeah, I know Nintendo doesn't give a shit, and that I shouldn't either or whatever, but it still sucks. There's no explanation for why Pauline is a kid, nor why King. K. Rool is seemingly meeting DK for the first time, yet Diddy's dialogue suggests Bananza takes place after DKC. It's also impossible for Cranky to have kidnapped adult Pauline in the original Donkey Kong if she was only introduced here as a kid while he's already old now. It's a mess.

There was a video that tried to make sense of it.

Basically, the original DK is still canon, but neither Mario nor Pauline were present. Instead, Cranky kidnapped Lady - which is referenced with Pauline wearing Lady's dress - while Jumpman was the hero to save her. This is not the first time K Rool met DK, they make it pretty clear he has been out of commission for decades between himself, Cranky and Diddy. It is safe to assume Bananza takes place after all 5 DKC games. Where the timeline gets messy is with Pauline referring back to Donkey Kong in Odyssey, but it is theorized that she is actually talking about DK GameBoy (1994) and not the arcade game - even if Odyssey mostly references arcade.

There is no Mario timeline. There is a DK one though, and the game does seemingly fuck it up. Oh well, did you really play a DK game for the plot?
