I didn't know this, interesting. Even if it was Nintendo of America, Inc, it's still a Japanese company, why care about, they just could've told them to fuck off, what was Nintendo supposed to do, not selling their stuff in the richest market in the world.

Idk dude, you've seen the last Fire Emblem teaser? 2/3 of the cast (likely the good side) are anime middle easterns/africans. They aren't as bad as realistic models but there's definitely fetishizing the future population of Japan.

I forgot how bad amiibos were, with Nintendo seemingly keeping stocks low for the sake of their brand.

But the worse is them releasing different versions of the same games with some content locked off. Starting from Pokemon Red/Blue. The new mainline Pokemon will probably cost 80$ per colour plus 40$ DLC of old Pokémon models from 2 generations ago and even worse power creep.

Thats never been true. Nintendo has their loyal tards but they were always few and far between compared to the other two. Consider this: the Wii U and the XBox One were both failures,, but despite Microsoft making the wrong move at every turn, it still sold over 50 million while the Wii U sold 13 million. Nintendo is very dependent on their own games and often they rely on one or two hits to not be a complete flop. The Switch wouldn't have been a success without Breath of the Wild.

We're already seeing the cracks. In the US, second month sales went from 1.6 million to 400K. Now, two months into its launch, its on store shelves everywhere. In about a month or two, it will be tracking below the PS4. In Japan, its stabilized at 40K a week. That sounds good, till you realize not even a year ago Switch 1 was at 50-60K a week. Then you have some other oddities. Third parties have noted that their games are flopping on Switch 2 so much so that Nintendo put out a massive survey on the Game Key Cards. In the US, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe outsold Mario Kart World in July. Then Nintendo announces in the Direct that Donkey Kong Bananza is getting a free demo. Usually games get demos BEFORE release, not after. Guess their only other big Switch 1 game isn't doing so hot.

The truth is the critics are being proven right. The Switch 2 had such a massive launch because

But now that we're out of the honeymoon period, we're seeing the price and the lack of games is starting to hurt them. It doesn't help that every video on Youtube about MKW is either it not that good, its dead or Sonic Crossworlds is SOOOO much better. The general consumer that Nintendo needs is not coming out and it's going to show in the next months. I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo is going to have a massive surplus of Switch 2s since they aren't selling fast enough and they are putting out a new bundle for Christmas. Retailers already broke ranks with the Switch 1's price hike and I could see them do the same for Switch 2 (especially as this will likely be one of the worst holiday seasons since the Great Recession).

Surprised she wasn’t from the beginning. Nintendo said they are trying to push the girl characters more, so a bit strange they left her out after including her in 3D World.

Not sure if others will be added, but if they do, bets are on the Wario brothers.
 
I saw a Nintendo promo booth at Walmart today. There was only one person there.

No, they had someone at a promo booth inside the Walmart. Like they have for cellphones and the like. It's not something that's always there.

I don't see a problem with this. Brown-skinned white people are vastly superior to actual brown people. If it placates diversity mandates then why look a gift horse in the mouth?
