You can always buy the upgrade pack without the NSO subscription.
The "upgrade pack" should be the more powerful hardware you get from buying a Switch 2. Nintendo are being greedy jews and shame on anyone who supports this behavior by buying these bullshit "switch 2 editions"

I'm just waiting for the Super Mario 64 HD remaster for the Switch 2. If that doesn't flop, then I have the right to call everyone who brought it an mongoloid.

I will admit, getting to play BOTW with a higher frame rate and resolution is pretty awesome.
I swore off buying TOTK when it launched due to how much I hated BOTW performance but I'm having a great time playing the switch 2 edition. I heard the word "transformative" about the performance difference in the switch 2 editions of these games and I have to agree.

Nigger. Nobody is doubting the games run better on the S2. What we’re asking is the upgrade worth the A$25.

I bought my household a PS3 for Christmas instead. It plays DVDs, we never had a Blu-ray player until now, and there's all these games I never got to play when they were new. Even the Nintendrones I know don't want a Switch 2 for one reason or another, like suing small businesses that dare to compete with Pokemon.

If it was $25 I would probably have passed on it and the $60 base game. I'll let you read between the lines of "happily playing the switch 2 edition" to figure out if the $10 was worth it to me.

I know what you're getting at though. It is likely a miniscule amount of work to upgrade and Nintendo is clearing what, millions on these different upgrade packs?

Updated my original post to clarify australian dollars since everybody itt has decided to be combative faggot retards for some reason

Everyone has played that game enough times anyway.
That's my point. We'll eventually get that or some other fossil of a game as an filler release to help fund the next iteration of "Bing Bing Wahoo!" that might be underwhelming

Miyamoto-chan says “Old games eventually become obsolete when newer versions come out.” He should play Wart in the Nintenflix films, he looks like an old frog.
The pc ports are forever though.

Nice, I still have my PS3 Slim sitting somewhere for those times I get the urge to play the R7C: Future series. Just remember that the PS3 only plays CDs, DVDs, and 1080p Blu-Ray discs (and some Blu Ray 3D discs but good luck finding a TV that can display 3D video). The only systems that play the newer Ultra HD Blu Ray discs are the PS5 and the Xbox Series X.
