Rather, I think it just alienates people who post pictures of themselves and their new and totally cool nipple removal job.
Most people don't read about body mods on tumblr, afterall.

Jesus Christ. At least breast reconstruction is a thing. But I don't feel bad for her. But for her family.
 
This entire thread is nauseating. Who in their right mind would allow their body to do this kind of shit? Like what the fuck is with these people? :literally my reaction when:
 
I'm always surprised these weirdos get mad when people call them freaks. For the longest time I thought that was the point of doing weird carnival freak show stuff like this - to freak people out and make them gawk at you.

I guess if you lack the feeling in your nips to be able to chop them off, all that sensitivity has to go somewhere.

But now I know what to send for my best friend for xmas. Got any cut nipples anyone?
 
About a decade ago, I got my nipples pierced. Nothing fancy, just a pair of 16-gauge rings. They healed up okay, and it was a cool thing. Until one day about six months later I was out in the backyard shooting my bow. It was pretty hot that day, so totally not thinking at all I shucked my T-shirt off. I'm sure you can see where this is going.

Strreeekkkk....TWANG.....*Plink*! I like to have shot my left nipple ring downrange with a 55-Lb recurve. I screamed like a little girl. On fire.

I can't even imagine how painful getting your nipples cut off while conscious would be.

Actually, I'm surprised no one has found tumblr's version of a Ellen Jamesian. I mean, if people are cutting off their own nipples just to show mom and dad how different they are; there's bound to be someone who's lopped off something more important to prove a self-righteous point.

You know what pisses me off about this? Okay, maybe this is an overreaction, but I think about women who've lost their breasts to cancer, and these assholes are just lopping off their nipples by choice. And not all of them are able to have reconstructive surgery, either. My cousin who had to have a double masectomy was lucky -- she was able to do so, and they were able to restore the nipples as well. (Yes, she showed us at Easter a few years ago. Considering the circumstances, can you really blame her?) I hope this doesn't make me sound like a SJW, but seriously.
I mean this just...I can't even.

(Wouldn't surprise me if anyone decides to start binding their feet)
