you're seriously probably being used for an experiment. chrome devs love to do a-b testing where they silently use a random sample of users as guinea pigs. try to lower your value and do more churnFor some reason youtube has started messing with my settings on edge for no reason, every time I open a new tab it changes from dark theme to light theme and re-enables autoplay. There might be other settings that are getting borked but those are the only two I care about. I keep changing them back but it fucks up again if I open a new tab.
Anyone know if there is some issue with youtube and/or edge (possibly other chrome based browsers)? This has only started happening last few days.
I have noticed that a common failure mode for mice is the debounce stops working as intended. After some time, they will start to double click when you mean to single click. I can't be the only one with this issue as it's happened with several of the mice I've had and worked with.
My question is "why?" I was always taught to deal with bounce on the software level where you just insert a pause for some number of milliseconds or whatever where the device won't receive any input after the button is first pressed. Is that not how they do it with a mouse? Does the hardware really just degrade so badly that the vibration continues past the debounce buffer? It's certainly annoying to say the least.
TL;DR:
-the change from 5v to lower (3.3v) logic voltage and use of the MCUs' higher resistance internal pull-ups (~40k) necessitates a change in hardware design, which manufacturers have not caught up to yet
-the change to faster MCUs and higher polling rates necessitates more advanced firmware logic, which manufacturers have not caught up to yet
-the 'general purpose' switches we have been using don't work well at new voltages/currents/rates, and the ruggedized 50M versions are even more incompatible, and may 'fail' even faster than the lower cycle-life versions
-Micro-load rated switches like D2F-01F or similar may offer better performance and longer electrical life (but possibly shorter mechanical life)
According to discogs, it was released on a 2007 album called K-Mart Disco, which was not however an official release which will make it hard to find. It doesn't seem to be available on any streaming services either. The only option then might be to find a torrent for the album. Can anyone help me find the song Monkey Baby by the Scissor Sisters?
Sure. Can anyone help me find the song Monkey Baby by the Scissor Sisters? There's only one copy on youtube and the audio is all fucked:
I was going to buy it from Amazon, but I can't find it. It was supposedly on the Kill Bill soundtrack but it didn't officially appear in the movies. I can't find it on either soundtrack. This song used to be everywhere! It's almost like someone memory-holed one of the greatest songs by the world's gayest band.
My main problem with my G603 is that the scroll wheel is all fucky and drifts. When searching for a fix I found that this is a problem across many, many Logitech mice and the solution is always the same on the component that they all share. It's a notorious hardware issue among Logitech mice. The reason why has to do with the Omron switches that Logitech chooses to use and refuses to fix. I suspect it's planned obsolecence conspiracy because the failure rates on newer models are so high and it's a problem that doesn't reveal itself until a couple months of use. I was struck with this issue for three different Logitech G503s and ended up soldering on Kailh brand switches. The high amount of views on videos about how to fix this hardware defect show how common this issue is.
Here's an hour long video about this very specific defect:
Yes, you can keep using it as an ashtray as long as you haven't burned all the way through the PCB. Once you do, it's time for a replacement.

I didn't use my computer for awhile and when I got back, Microsoft spent 2 and half hours installing an update. Told me my versions of windows was too old and that it'd totally take care of everything for me, like it wasn't goading my paranoid schizophrenia by constantly telling my to trust it. Ya right, Bill Gates...I remember Windows 3.1 and I know you're a compromised asshole who was forced to watch child porn by the global satanic cabal and the glowniggers. Sterilize the Africans with your billion dollar NGO and vaccines and not getting your own kids vaccinated because "they're perfect," when everyone knows you can cure malaria by drinking bleach...I don't trust you or your automated updates.
Anyway, this update totally fucked up my aesthetic. I like the nice Win 7 taskbar, but now this update has put fucking weather down there and I don't know how to get rid of it! What's worse is that it doesn't even update and has the WRONG temperature ever since I rebooted with this update. I have a FUCKING PC, not a fucking tablet. I DON'T WANT THE WEATHER. I HAVE LITERALLY HUNDREDS OF OTHER WAYS OF CHECKING THE WEATHER including, but not limited to GOING THE FUCK OUTSIDE. I know this is like one of a million fucking other ways for big tech to track and spy on us and that's all insidious and shit, but seriously BILL GATES WHY DID YOU FUCK UP MY TASKBAR?
tl;dr FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO GET RID OF THE WEATHER IN THE WINDOWS 10 TASKBAR
Because that's exactly what the Indians want us to believe. Why does it seem like hackers are always from Russia?

The answer will always be "Use yt-dlp instead." youtube-dl is no longer being maintained and won't have any workarounds for whatever tweaks Google makes on their side to break such tools. This is a youtube-dl question.
If it's still up then I'd just use yt-dlp to download it again. Nearly every flag youtube-dl uses is compatible with yt-dlp if you did anything fancy. This is a youtube-dl question.
I just downloaded the livestream of Josh's podcast. But after his show finished youtube-dl seems to be stuck in a loop complaining about a "discontinuity sequence". How do I get the program to end its recording and begin stitching everything together with ffmpeg? I've got the raw file in my folder but it cannot be viewed. And I could have sworn youtube-dl used to do this all automatically.
YouTube does reencoding in the period after a stream finishes. I'm guessing you got caught in the period between where the 'raw' version was available for download (which will be just the last 2 hours for a long stream) and the reprocessed version. This is a youtube-dl question.

This is solely speculative, but does this Adobe conversion software allow you to change just which fonts are being embedded? Is it possible you might have manually specified specific fonts to include before, at which point you wouldn't have included the new Gujiarati font?Enter the Gujarati language. Unicode fonts do not work here. I also tried fonts that are supposed to be specifically designed for it, like Shruti. Doesn't work. So I accessed my Adobe Creative Cloud subscription and specifically activated the Adobe Gujarati font. This, too, failed spectacularly, even when using that font in the original Word document prior to conversion.
I don't currently have the option of trying other programs such as InDesign; it's got to be a Word-to-PDF conversion via Adobe Acrobat DC Pro.
Does anyone know what else I could try/what I could be missing here? Thanks in advance.
