Well, listen. If it was true that these people are just minding their own business and not bothering anybody you might have a point. But this is not the case. These people scream and cry in real life too which is why we have these asinine laws protecting their right to force others to buy into their delusions. They effect everything from census statistics to women's sports and are quite happy to attempt to fuck you up irl if you disagree with them whether that's through lawsuits or simply weaponizing outrage culture to try and get you fired or lose your friends.

And morally? It's fucking wrong to go around forcing people to vocalize things they fundamentally do not believe. It may seem like nbd to just use someone's asinine pronouns if it makes them happy but you might be surprised by how viscerally people hate that shit when it is presented to them.

You also absolutely cannot compare medical breakthroughs intended to cure disease to what amounts to transhumanist body modification. A lung transplant is not a boob job and it's ridiculous to equate the two. Humans are sexually dimorphic and we know this on a deep subconscious level. These people are playing games with other people's fundamental base sexuality and they can't be surprised when others think they're massive assholes for it.

I would caution you not to assume the only interactions I've had with trans people are tumblr users. You don't know anything about me, whether I'm male or female, straight or gay or trans or anything and I'm not going to tell you. I know irl trannies who just go about their business. I know they exist. It doesn't change the fact that my life and many other lives are personally affected by troon bullshit. When life goes back to normal sanity, we'll talk about the poor trannies who are so hard done by. Until then, they are the most privileged fucking oppressed people I have ever interacted with in my entire life and they can all fuck off. I've met quite a few NB people who were definitely dysphoric to that extent, and therefore I feel as if I can safely call that some form of being transgender, the latter phenomenon is just a very recent fad since slapping "kweer" labels on yourself is trendy now. Fads come and go but there are an admittedly rare breed of people for whom it is more than that.

Yes you did assume. You assumed the reason I feel the way I do is because of tumblr. I literally don't ever go to tumblr. My experience with tumblr is entirely confined to the community watch threads on this site. If you think this is all tumblrs fault though, you should check out the tranny Reddit thread or like literally any of the rat king threads. Tumblr is where the ftms hang out. It's the mtfs that cause the majority of the irl problems people have though so your premise is flawed.

I feel like there's an overarching theme with this style of snowflake fashion. Can't exactly put my finger on why I find it so revolting. I have a feeling it's a meeting of sheer laziness and sheltered suburban naivete trying desperately to imitate whatever semblance it can of edgy urban punk fashion from back in the day and failing. Trying to rebel but having nothing to rebel against. No self-respecting delinquent would pair an aggressive mohawk or undercut and a nose ring with a preppy sweater vest and nerd glasses, or God forbid, suspenders. The latter are signifiers of a comfortable middle class gone soft from a life of being able to afford to avoid crime and conflict and by design cannot coexist with the former on the same outfit without clashing and making the wearer look hideously silly and garish. No, it depends on what you're wearing them with anyway. If you're going to dress informal it would be more sensible to keep the suspenders under your clothes if for some reason a belt won't do the job just as well.
