I've tried to tolerate these types of people before, but every fucking time without fail they come off as snooty, up tight, and constantly on the edge of exploding. Half the time, trying to be in close proximity to an enby while walking on eggshells because of their gay ass identity is mentally degrading. See, that is the type of shit that drives me up a wall with this whole non-binary thing: they are unable to give a clear explanation as to why they exist. They resort to vague shit like "Oh, I just see myself as a human". Hmm, maybe it's because you are a fucking human. I'm not saying people should conform to gender norms. I'm just saying that acting as though this needs to be officially, legally recognized is retarded and frustrating.

It's like those people who say "I don't see myself as an American citizen. I see myself as a world citizen". Like, okay, you can think like that, but you're still recognized legally as an American citizen. Non-binaries are the equivalent to people who want to put "world" as their place of residence. It's that level of frustrating.

This is the best way of expressing it I have seen. The same thing bugs me. When someone is turning their life upside down and demanding special treatment to do the same sort of thing and larp like Vulcans are going to show up and ask about their star-address as an adult haha no.

People only start identifying as non-binary based on the false premise that women all "feel" like women and men all "feel" like men. I don't think most people have some vague "feeling" of their gender, they simply are what they are. And so people say "huh, I don't have some vague indescribable feeling of being a (wo)man, therefore I'm non-binary". Also being feminine does not directly correlate with being a woman, by saying that she's only enforcing gender stereotypes.

There's a webtoon called The Fabled Warrior that has a character where they're using "they/them" pronouns in the English version and it gets really confusing at times when it's unclear if the character is alone or with others - especially when it's important.

E.g.
"He's said he was going to kidnap her!" "Where are they?" is easy to parse because the person asking is wondering where both individuals are.
but
"They said they were going to kidnap her!" "Where are they?" is not, because it could be asking where the potential kidnapper is or where both individuals are.

Spoiler: Sperging about the enbies I've met

Y'know, something I've noted about all the enbies and troons I've come across in my particularly woke LGBTABCD-infested area of the planet is that they are all so profoundly mentally ill, even after socially transitioning. Strange how that correlates, huh? It's almost like trooning out doesn't actually solve the underlying issues as they believed (or were promised) it would.

- The obese skirt-wearing cleavage-showing nude-sending self-proclaimed "trans man" caked in lipstick and eyeliner going by he/they/it pronouns I mentioned earlier up in the thread has now been through at least 3 relationships in the span of less than a month. "He" spends his days flip-flopping between binge-eating and self-starvation coupled with over-exercise, getting absurdly high and/or drunk, and documenting it all on social media.
- The "mildly autistic" overweight DID LARPer hasn't changed since I last mentioned her, other than the fact she's shaved herself down to a buzz cut and now identifies as "genderfluid" rather than NB. She downed a packet of anti-depressants the other month and spent a couple of days in hospital. Now she's got a(nother) girlfriend (after going through like 3 breakups within a few months of each other), she's sperging about how much she "loves" her "submissive" and posting other BDSM-esque shit related to that. She still verbally attacks and threatens people online under the guise of it actually being her sooper skary "protector" alter. Textbook cluster B if you ask me.
- Yet another obese troon I knew identified as a trans woman for a grand total of about 4 months before deciding he felt "too restricted" as a woman and cutting his long hair down to a buzz cut (what is it with troons and buzz cuts?) to signify him moving onto the next best trendy label of "non-binary". I didn't know him well, but he's being accused of sexual assault and verbal abuse now, so I guess that's a good thing.
- An effeminate gay man I'm acquainted with came out as "agender" (yet somehow still gay?) recently. All I really know about this guy is he's got a glaring superiority complex, he dyes his hair a lot, and he occasionally cuts himself. Last I heard, he was dependant on cannabis.
- A chick I know quite well started identifying as genderfluid a few months back (it was like a domino effect after the first one came out, I swear), despite keeping an outwardly feminine appearance and switching to a typically masculine given name. Not much to say about her other than she's an anorexic cutter with a history of abuse and a hair dye obsession who cries about all her problems on social media. Fits the bill, I guess.

In a way, I feel sorry for them. Keep in mind, these people are adults, and they still can't acknowledge their own issues and get therapy. Whatever they've got going on with them, I guarantee it's not "gender dysphoria".

Ok. I thought a few updates regarding these personal cows of mine were in order.

Spoiler: Enby sperging

- The most feminine "trans man" I've ever had the displeasure of meeting is now pregnant and planning to keep and raise it. She initially claimed she did not know who the father was given that, in her own words, she's "such a hoe" who has "slept with 10 people already" (for context, she is in her early 20s). She has since named the supposed father. Perhaps the most alarming fact about this is that I've heard whisperings from associates that she is "a pedo". Indeed, one of her closest friends is a known creep of a woman with a consistent history of sleeping with 16-17 year old boys whilst in her early to mid 20s. Troon claims to have stopped drinking and smoking since finding out she was pregnant. Last I knew, she was going by a feminine name and she/they pronouns - as per a friend who has spoken to her more recently than I, she has reverted to the unisex name. She is still markedly obese.
- Self-proclaimed autistic overweight DID LARPer extraordinaire is back with her ex and never, ever stops posting about how much she loves her. Both she and her now fiancée are whoring themselves out on Snapchat. It's kinda hilarious to watch them chimp out over the dudes sending them dick pics or asking for private meetings - "I am happily engaged! How dare you?! REEEEE!". She has toned down the DID LARPing to the point of this devastating life-changing mental illness of hers conveniently being all but non-existent. Nowadays, she prefers to sperg about her supposed BPD. There hasn't been a peep of her "alters" in months when she used to post about them daily.
- Last I heard of the obese troon accused of abuse and sexual assault, he was sending aggressive drunken voice notes to people who hadn't spoken to him in months and then love-bombing to try and make up for it.
- The only thing that's changed with the effeminate gay guy is that he's given up the weed habit and he now has a purple mullet.
- Everyone around the last chick has given up on humouring her enby exploits. Everyone calls her she/her and she doesn't correct them despite insisting she's still a they/them genderspecial. Her ex-girlfriend and her current girlfriend both call her a she. She still goes by that typically masculine name, and still makes no attempt to appear as anything other than a woman from her hair to her clothing to her mannerisms.

Bonus round for those who care! A new enby that I've met is, as all the others, an utter trainwreck.
- She is a small moderately physically disabled girl who makes being "non-binary" and disabled her whole identity. The one time I had a proper conversation with her, she was enthusiastically preaching for "race and gender representation" in children's media and complaining about her family forcing her to go to church and having to hide all her "pride stuff" from them. She goes by a feminine name but gets upset when people say she's anything other than a they/them super valid enby. She wears pins with her gender identity, pronouns, sexual identity, and medical conditions on her shirt and a non-binary flag choker in a professional setting. As if that wasn't enough, when we in a small group were talking about Roe v Wade being overturned and how it affects women, she took any opportunity she could to turn the conversation to the poor trans men being "excluded" from the debate.

I can't help but think that all this enby/non-binary/genderspecial identity stuff is just this generation's equivalent of the "goth" and "emo" identities of the MySpace generation. It appears to serve the same social function of appealing to people who are struggling to fit in and find their place in the world, and under normal circumstances, most would probably grow out of it.

The real concern is how much this is being used to encourage people in the direction of making permanent decisions about their bodies, because I fear that it's going to result in many of them coming to regret making life-altering commitments to something that would otherwise be a passing fad.
