Megathread Non-binary genders / Enbies - When Male and Female Aren't Special Enough

i could always sort of understand the whole “million sexualities” thing. sexuality can be complicated, especially for teenagers and people in their early twenties (most of the tumblr users that end up on here). i don’t agree with it, i think that really just comes down to preferences or fetishes, but whatever. i don’t get the whole extra genders thing. they have this huge push for genders not having any effect on ones personality, and then do the exact opposite by making up new genders that perfectly fit their personality.

tumblrshits really just have this awful need to be as unique as possible and since they've been most likely told that they're special since they were little they have this tendency to pathologize every stupid thing they say or do because what they're experiencing always had to be exclusive to them and could never be experienced by the test of the world.
Gender is a feeling and being a tranny is all about defying gender roles because you know, cis people are always generic stereotypes of their gender.

That's why they come up with all this stupid shit. Liking short hair or trucks when they have a pussy obviously is very special and must mean that they're not boring normie shit.
Probably doesn't help that 99% of them are boring, unattractive socially awkward losers so they are desperate for something that makes them feel a bit more interesting.

here's a progressive idea for you fuck wanks....(and by fuck wanks i mean people off in tumblr land that dont adhere to something called REALITY!)
...
Why dont you just accept the fact that its ok to be a boy and like girlish things?
OR
Why dont you just accept the fact that its ok to be a girl and like boyish things?

oh wait, i know why, its because You're already too far gone from reality... my mistake... :\

PS. i'm not actually mad.... I'm just being sarcastic... audaciously sarcastic

I notice that most of them takes a lot of selfies of themselves and rate it as "cute boi uwu", while they're not really cute and are most average/average (when you're not ugly but not pretty y'know?).

They identify as non-binary because they think it gives them cute points, so the fat blue-haired girl who was never noticed during highschool can now puts hearts snapchat filter and thinks she's as pretty as a Stacy.

I'm amazed at how much the "rules" for all these little groups look like the rules of a narcissistic abuser. That whole "it's not about always getting it right, it's about correcting yourself consistently" thing is abuser playbook material. "It's ok if you burn dinner sometimes, sweetie, I know you're a terrible cook, after all, but what's important is that you uncomplainingly make a new dinner for me and get it on the table before I get hangry."

It's a perfect one-two punch to the self-esteem of the person you're addressing. First you tell them that you think they're too stupid/insensitive/whatever to act right all the time, then while they're feeling shitty about that you tell them a new way for them to cater to their desires. It's a technique that can be used without the self-esteem destruction if you're talking to a five year old, but when you talk to an alleged peer this way, it's just going to feel demeaning.
