And you can identify as "nb" and a lesbian how? Sure you could argue it's two vaginas bumping uglies but isn't tumblr all about "if you're of the girl gender and you love girls, you're lesbian" which means that someone who's a self proclaimed nb... can't be a lesbian.

Or are you only a girl when you feel like it

Only a girl when it gets you into 'lesbian/wlw spaces'. I've seen god knows how many NB people who were born women going off about not being allowed into women-only spaces. Like ok you're not a woman, you have no purpose being in women's spaces- which are usually centered around lesbian relationships, women's personal issues, etc. going on what people have told me.

I don't care if you're the most effeminate "femme nb" on the planet, if someone tells you that you're not welcome in a woman's only space because you identify as nonbinary (and are therefore not a woman) that's the bed you made and you need to lie in it.

see this is what I can't stand: either sex-based oppression is real--or it's not. like from a pure radical feminist point of view, of course an afab non-binary person should be allowed into women's spaces since women's spaces are about being female. but from a queer activism point of view, women's spaces are for people who call themselves women, and these people subscribe to that when it comes to mtf's, but refuse to apply it to themselves.

:late: Since being straight is being exclusively attracted to a gender different from yours, then these so called nonbinary lesbians would be straight, but being heterosexual isn't trendy

I'm not sure if this is the right thread, but I saw the trend of tumbrinas mentioning they are transhumanists in their blog descriptions etc. Guess this is the next level of this "I'm non-binary!!!" craze.
They just can't wait to upload their mind to computer and became one with their Tumblr blog or identyfing as robosexual. Because that's cool and Connor from Detroid:Become Human is cute or something.

This isn't a new thing at all, I met someone like this a couple years ago. Some nerds just get really fixated on the idea of uploading themselves into a fully customizable immortal robot body. Unless there's a recent resurgence going on or something.

Yeah this shit has been around for some years - at least 4 or 5. I remember one of my then friends inviting me to a skype groupchat and they were like "You're okay with trans people, right?" and I said "Sure, I'm totally chill"... But then they said "So here is X and he's a transhumanist."

That was the first time I heard about this stuff and I regretted joining that groupchat immediately. (:_(

My best friend was a transhumanist. Had a whole little group of people who believed the same crazy shit he did, too.

That was in 2001.

Most of these various stupid tumblr ideas (and MLM shit done by soccer moms, really) are retreads of things someone came up with 20+ years ago and couldn't get enough adherents to make their own cult for. Now that the internet can connect every fool that can be deluded by whatever particular cult thing someone's selling, they're all going to have their day in the sun.
