According to Wikipedia and cutting out multiplats: Bugsnax, Astro's Playroom (already present on every console at time of purchase,) Deathloop, Godfall and Spiderman: Miles Morales. But if you go a full year out from launch then most of the 2021 titles would be launch year too.

Thats pretty good for launch. No BotW there but if Miles is a budget title that would be a pretty good deal for people who didn't own a PS4. PS3 had Dirt and a few flecky turds, PS4 had a PS3 remaster and Knack.

PS3 didn't even have Dirt, it had Motorstorm a game even more boring than Dirt.

All Launch PS5's are coming with GTA5 and Astro's Playroom installed on them for free.

Astro's Playroom was made by Studio japan which is the same branch that made Ape Escape.

Astro's Playroom also plays like Ape Escape. It's probably a trial run. There's quite a few platformers coming out including ones like The Brand New Odd World.

They want people to buy those Shark cards. It's the same reason why Fortnite is free.

The good news is it can be uninstalled.

Is GTA V actually pre-installed or is it a free download? I would imagine parents groups getting pissed if its the former. Fucking parents groups but on the other hand just having it always there for free would help out people who buy used (shops often wipe the memory so you don't have the previous owner's info on it.)

From what I heard, GTA Online can be downloaded for free. Not built in to the console.

Of all the game's that have been revealed in the past week or so, this is the one that intrigues me the most:

I love ridiculously over the top games like this.

Stray looks like it will be an interesting game:

Also keeping an eye on Almighty: Kill Your Gods:

Edit- After rewatching their trailers, Pragmata and Little Devil Inside look like something that's right up my alley:

Pragmata looks like Hideo Kojima did Binary Domain , Little devils is odd feels like that online game that Sony canned because it was a exclusive and very bland The Tomorrow Children still cant make a true veredict

Btw my commentary of Hideo Kojima is mostly because the armor must be familiar for people here and he talked a lot about how he loved the interface of The Division
 
Little Devil Inside looks like a game based entirely around the monster hunting aspect of the Witcher series. If that's what the game is about and they manage to make the researching, tracking, and hunting parts interesting and varied I could see it being a good game.

EA had their EA Play conference yesterday.

I didn't watch it, so I'll just use a link to summarize what was announced.

  • The Sims 4 coming to Steam.
  • Two indie titles revealed: It Takes Two, created by the people that made A Way Out, and Lost in Random
  • A 3v3 arena title called Rocket Arena. It has rockets.
  • Apex Legends is coming to Steam & Switch WITH cross-play.
  • FIFA & Madden 21 montage.
  • Star Wars: Squadrons gameplay, play as a Star Wars pilot.
  • Brief montage of next-gen: Criteron with a racing game, Bioware with some fantasy setting, Dice's next Battlefield and Motive with some Half Life inspiration
  • SKATE 4 CONFIRMED!!! ZOMG!!!!! Probably in response to Project Session, Tony Hawk remaster and Skater XL.

I've wanted a successor to the x-wing series for ages but squadrons looks like trash. I'd love to be proven wrong but a space "sim" that is focused on 5v5 multiplayer with tons of cosmetics just screams e-sports cash grab. Like that isn't even a squadron worth of fighters in multiplayer while war thunder, f2p trash made by drunk russians, can do 64 player MP. I'm betting the SP is just tacked on like in battlefield and the sim elements will be non-existent. It also somehow looks more cartoony than battlefronts space combat like they fucked up the materials.
