TL;DW: It fucking sucked. Nintendo won once again, the Xbox Games showcase was mediocre at best and not total dogshit like the rest. Last year was boring, but this time it was boring and torturous.
TGS is azn/jap shit, so it won't be as bad as the westoid goyslop marketing event. I hope.

Finally, with Tales of the shire: A Lord of the Rings (tm) we can finally figure out what the tax policy of the shire was! I hope we figure out if they had tariffs in Middle Earth, and how Sauron had to deal the immigration crisis with the Orcs!

But that was a very predicable Nintendo direct, always the same stuff "New Mario stuff! New Zelda stuff!' I guess the new Metroid Prime 4 looks alright, never been a fan of the series but why does the forth game look like it stole its art design from Halo 4? It legit looks like DLC for it.

Sigh.... I remember when Halo 4 was coming out and people said it looked like Metroid.

Marvel vs Capcom Collection announcement, Metroid Prime 4 trailer, new Metal Slug game, plus Dragon Quest 1, 2, and 3 HD Remakes.... Fuck it. Nintendo won.

A MARVEL VS CAPCOM COLLECTION IS HAPPENING. AAHHHHH. I'm so fucking happy I could cry right now. I thought it was doomed to languish in a shitty 1up arcade cabinet forever.

Nintendo won just based on that announcement alone.

That title... is pretty mid not gonna lie. It sure ain't touching Corruption or Echoes in hook. I'm worried that it will be a trend follower and not a trend setter since it's been in development hell for what, 7 years now? I'm assuming the background graphic indicates the "gimmick" of the game, i.e. Echoes = The Dark World and Corruption = Phazon/Hypermode. I fear Retro's art department not having the same magic as they used to, since pretty much all of the legacy Prime staff are gone now... Art is very important to me, and Prime's creative design was just as important as the gameplay imo.
