While I generally agree with his sentiment I'm not sure I agree with the aggressive push to alienate all the site's old users and make it some kind of girlcow board refuge for all the middle aged women who got banned from Mumsnet and various blogs.

I've been here since early 2014 and lurked back before Null even owned the site. The people that contributed and built the site up to what it is today aren't bitter feminists but nerdy young men much like Null himself.

Yes incels are cringe but I think telling all the site's users to fuck off because this isn't a fun shitposting site anymore but some kind of super cereal #reeesistance for the future of wymnkind against the evil troon menace is fucking cringe and gay.

I just want to laugh at idiots that cum on plushies and talk about videogames man. When I first started posting here I didn't sign up to get drafted into some gay anti troon culture war bullshit.

No I don't hate women but I do think this site was generally a lot more fun before we absorbed all the girlcow board refugees and had to adjust the site's culture to accommodate them and make the entire thing about fighting troons Instead of having fun.

Fuck man maybe I've just gotten old and the new crop of users aren't interested in shitposting and having fun and everything has to be some gay crusade about gender or politics.

I've watched the "strong career woman" shtick melt away, literally, before my eyes when she realized she could be a stay-at-home mother in a house with a white (but no picket) fence. I saw her eyes glitter at the thought when the realization hit her.

Why do you think I find more fun regarding subjects that involve various games and shit?

Those I can have fun in and talk with others on why something in a game sucks or works so well without the pretentious hours long essay that is regurgitated from fans of Hbomberguy.

Honestly,a lot of shit was better when it wasn't so fucking serious but the feeling of needing to change for newfags is how most franchises jump off a cliff.

Hell,most Lolcow channels I noticed a trend that even with someone like Cyraxx,these orbiters do something to somehow make them look worse than the Goblin due to treating trolling as a job.
