This is fucking lies. I got my first computer when I was six, and was playing video games before most of the fuckers posting on this site were even born, and I had plenty of other female friends doing similar. Games were expensive, but piss easy to copy, so we had big groups, in real life, who swapped and pirated and went to each others house to play games together.
You obviously know fuck all about the history of the personal computer, gaming, or women's involvement in it.
I don't do much gaming now, I don't have time, and haven't really kept up, due to other responsibilities, but women have enjoyed gaming since gaming began. Even my mother would play video games, god rest her soul.
