NYT Secure Server Leak

Lol, why does everybody suck so bad at security?
Did NYT also hire a music major as their head of IT?

You´d be surprised by how incompetent some Information Security departments really are. I don't blame them entirely because for a lot of companies, cybersecurity tends to be an afterthought. They seem to be content by just having someone to blame when breaches happen.

The reason this might seem disappointing to some people is because this forum is full of people who already assumed this was happening and this merely confirms a lot of it.
There will be no bombshells because these people are incapable of bombshells. If this were a politician's internal docs then maybe, but NYT and WaPo and all of them are just here to make the news. They don't need big scoops, they haven't for a long time, possibly never.
All you'll find is evidence of their retarded machinations to steer public consensus, or as they would put it, "guide the conversation." They are activists and their role in this is to provide day-to-day, on the ground, tactical shit to control the narrative. If we want to find the real culprits here it'll have to be an actual server hack, and it'll have to be at a level where you ought to actually be afraid of retaliation.

This is all cool and funny, but we cannot expect a revealed truth from people who have no interest in trafficking in truth. All we can find out is their marching orders and their tactics, which we all pretty much knew anyway. I mean these people publicly and enthusiastically endorsed Hillary Clinton, and the jig was up long before that,

I for one am SHOCKED and SURPRISED that a company that probably has dozens of different affirmative action hiring policies, would have poor security.

Lolol nah what do you expect? Their IT security department is probably six trannies all browsing reddit, and an Nigerian immigrant who took the day off to look at employment opportunities at a less batshit crazy place.

and do you really think theyre gunna make the same mistake twice? they know they fucked up last election, if anything theyll over correct the other way.

Yes lol

To me, the juicy documents are the Teaching Project, the documents involving the 2008 financial crisis, Epstein documents, and the ones involving Biden (the cops one is absolutely lol).

One anon talked about a document that said that there was evidence linking SA to 9/11, and they were aware of it in 1999, but couldn't go after SA because they were important allies. But I haven't found it.

I know you meant SA as Saudia Arabia, but I first read it as SomethingAwful. I always knew Lowtax was up to no good!

You are posting in a thread has leaks from the NYTs internal documents stating how they are going to shape public opinion to influence an election.

And every election, they cleverly conceal this by publishing endorsements for candidates in primary and general elections signed by the editorial board, so that nobody knows which candidates they're pushing. Utterly diabolical!
