I was first introduced to David Dees years ago, I was doing a project about sugar/aspartame shit like that; and I was researching on Google when I found this picture

This picture kinda peaked my interest, it was weird and a little creepy but something about it... I remember trying to figure out the backstory of this picture, who made this? Maybe it was an anti-aspartame PSA?

Did some digging and that's when I was directed to the man himself, David Dees. I was genuinely not prepared for the rabbit hole of crazy conspiracy theory shit I'd see, no words to describe any of it lmao. Everything was here; new world order, demonic politicans, poisonous GMOs, chemtrails and going way further... After a while it wasn't hard to see this man was clearly nuts.

Fascinating man though, I gotta say. He was pretty talented at making these pictures and lots of them got widespread on the internet; most avid internet users have probably seen at least one of his pictures somewhere, and likely brushed it off as crazy shit. Even then, there was a few occurances where one of his artworks would be slightly accurate or correct; but that's pretty few and far between. RIP.

Context: David Dees used to be an illustrator for Sesame Street before falling down the conspiracy rabbit hole.

I was pretty sure he had been a professional illustrator at some point given the quality of his work. I’m going to bet he worked for SS in his twenties until the schizo firmly took the wheel by 30.

The extremely brief death notice makes me think there weren’t many, or any, people around him IRL which is pretty common for paranoid schizophrenics.

He moved to Sweden and thought he was safe until one day the Swedish glowies politely told him to leave.

Man, I’d love more details about his adventure moving to Sweden temporarily. It’s a pretty common thing for schizos to try and “escape” to other countries but it goes to shit very quickly because the schizophrenia moves with them.

(John Nash (famous schizo mathematician) had quite the spree across Europe attempting to renounce his American citizenship in the 1960s. Anerican consulates got to watch him try to dramatically burn his passport in the lobby several times. Ironically because he had been a top level mathematician occasionally involved in sensitive projects at elite universities his behavior DID attract the attention of real glow in the dark niggers working at consulates. They were told to keep an eye on him because no one knew what the fuck he was getting up to so it wasn’t all paranoia - the CIA did have to start babysitting him around Europe.)

Pretty sure American consulates have a playbook at the front desk for dealing with schizophrenic citizens that make their way overseas.

Yeah, its called zersetzung. It also includes, but is not limited to, making you fail in your professional or academic career, fucking with your love life, essentially perma-cockblocking you. It was aimed at destroying a person psychologically over a longer period of time. It's some real insidious shit, the guy who set it up was some psychopath who loved to make people despair. At least Himmler's nacht und nebel was relatively quick and clean.

Scientologists/Hubbard were very inspired by this and used the same tactics against their enemies. Hubbard had a real hard-on for Cold War psy -ops

May David Dees rest peacefully, even though I mostly disagree with most of his conspiracy photoshop art, it's still entertaining to look at from time to time.

On top of that, to the extent they had any kind of normal routine, it's completely thrown off by being in a different culture, and if they don't speak the language they're even more isolated. And any social problems they have are exacerbated by social differences they are completely unable to adapt to. Sometimes even otherwise seemingly normal people suffer a psychotic break on travel to another country, which usually gets better when they go back home. Jerusalem is particularly notorious for this, but Paris also has a similar reputation.

It doesn't even seem to be unique to schizophrenics, although paranoid personalities might be more susceptible to it. A lot of Bobby Fischer's crazy behavior after fleeing the United States looks like this.

It's unlikely it did Dees any favors.
