Right now, a lot of people are consuming media that encourages them to hate and fear the other side. Why? Because outrage and fear are what get the most engagement on Facebook and Twitter. You believe that Democrats want to put Trump voters in concentration camps; I have anti-Trump friends who earnestly believe that any black person photographed at a protest is at risk of later being hunted down and executed by "white supremacists" (i.e., your side). The more we believe that the other side is victimizing us and plotting to destroy us, the easier it is for us to lash out at them in what we see as self-defense. This is why I have an issue with these claims about Democrats plotting to kill Trump and imprison his supporters -- not because I love the Democrats, but because I don't really want to live in a country where everyone thinks everyone else is out to get them.
The media needs to be brought to a heel.

Kiwidarms isnt a trolling illuminati. I know. It that pulling a joey skaggs prank might cool things down.

Most of the people who complain about bias in "the media" are, in reality, complaining only about news sources that are biased in favor of groups other than their own. Anyone who allows themselves to be pandered to is helping low-quality journalism proliferate.

Styx made a video basically explaining the continued screaming about stolen ballots and cheated elections is pointless and his video has got 700 thumbs down already. These were the same people who mocked the shit out of Berniebros famous "HERE'S HOW BERNIE CAN STILL WIN" reddit threads back in 2016 when he had obviously lost and been cheated by the DNC. Amazing the lack of self awareness these people have. I'm saying this as someone who voted for Trump in both elections.
Styx is right.

I think Tim Pool and a few others are losing it. Although most of the activists say they believe it is unlikely things flip, claiming that it's too early to call it a Biden win for sure made sense until the supreme court threw out two lawsuits. Tim Pool is now claiming that it's still disingenuous to call it a Biden win because... Pence is in charge of counting electoral college results and can just claim that they're for Trump... This or is nuts imo. Same with expecting a mass of faithless voters or something.

Idk if he's trying to milk money from supporters before Trump is no longer news or if he has just never had a candidate he liked lose before.

Its not the bias. The news get its money from drama. The more drama it causes the better the ratings. More ratings means more money.

The post I quotes stated how the media inflames racial tension. They play as the modern version of Iago.

Also since the internet the media has been whoring it self out. Its become a tabloid level mouth piece for who ever pays for most air time.

Neither are good for democracy or society in general.

I keep seeing people claim this, but as far as I'm aware, Pence has no authority to reject or change any of the votes. His job is basically to just announce them, there's no discretion involved on his part.

See, it didn't lose hillary the election, but it definitely lost trump the election

I swear, this really is just a more extreme flip of 2016. I made fun of people then claiming that foreign meddling "TOTALLY FLIPPED THE ELECTION" for being absurd. Are we really going to go through that again now that none of the fraud has been substantiated anywhere and continues to fall apart at the first actual inspection? I've been mostly keeping my eyes off of this shit since the EC vote (at least, until people think that jan 6th will save them), but ... really? This shit again?

The shame of losing to Orange Man is worse than any prison Orange Man could’ve sent her to.
Honestly, this is something we should really remember.

Trump might've lost this time, but he did beat Hillary Clinton, something that nobody thought was going to happen, let alone be even possible. Trump, the man that the media threw everything at in an attempt to stop, and had only the backing of his supporters was able to take down the woman that truly did rig everything to make it so she'd be the nominee, and thought she was so untouchable and such a shoe-in for the presidency that she didn't even try to hide her disdain for the common man, and outright flaunted it.

He humiliated not only her, but the media, the government, the pollsters, the historians, world leaders-everyone who thought he couldn't do it. Like it, or not, he beat everyone, and made history, and that is something to be proud of. To think that a reality tv star could be a Clinton despite everything is still unprecedented, and is something that will always be remembered.

No matter what happens from now on, Trump will always have been a president.

Hillary will not.

Trump will always be more famous, beloved, and remembered than she will ever be.

And that is, and will always be something Hillary Rodham Clinton cannot stand.
