Biden is now likely to become President, which means he can't just hide in the basement for four years. Republicans could run a dead fish in 2024 and stand a decent chance, especially if they can hold Trump's gains with Cubans and blacks.

Thing is if the republicans keep the senate and block everything Joe attempts, a lot of people of the left will see him as a failure like they did Obama and it can easily flip. If democrats are smart they would focus on keeping the momentum for the midterms.

A fella whose political commentary I follow noted before election day something along the lines that "people who think that Biden is going to win have a state by state breakdown of key states he's going to take based on state-level polls and prediction markets. People who think Trump is going to win are just going off their feelings".

Given how well Trump performed in the election despite failing to do anything he promised to and incompetent handling of everything else, there's something to be said for the "just trust your feelings" argument. But there's no point in trying to have an actual logical argument with them, or anyone who still supports Trump at this point unless their name is Charlie Kirk or Candace Owens or some other grifter who's getting paid to do so.

They updated the results while I was posting that lol. It's 265,000 but they haven't updated the mail ins and precincts left yet. Trump campaign says they expect to win by 40,000 so seething should commence if his lead drops below like 25,000.
