That's why I want to do a "no-bragging" deal with the people who are politically different than me. Starting Tuesday, the shit is gonna be going so fast. No one's gonna have time to deal with that shit, and it's gonna be a huge clusterfuck.
The entire world is gonna be arguing like retards on Tuesday, let's be better than them and maintain decorum.

...his businesses have gone bankrupt multiple times and his solution to 'fixing the economy' was to uncap the buy junk bonds and uncap the amount of money the fed could print which has now created a ticking timebomb for the economy. I don't know what about that screams 'good with money'.

He has had seven bankruptcies, across a decade, out of five-hundred business ventures total. If he was a baseball player and this was his record, he would be in the Hall of Fame. Is a clickbait headline from 2016 really the best you can do?

My question is genuine because I'm genuinely baffled. Can a Biden supporter give me one logical, thoughtful reason why they would vote for Biden w/o mentioning the word Trump? I'm actually curious.
He's pro-nuclear energy and will listen to scientists when it comes to dealing with covid.

Why would you want to sleep through it? I have Weds off and can't wait to watch people melt down online over it. I don't care who wins.
I mean fuck the world, I voted third party because I wasnt going to vote but my sister was holding my housing situation over me and her friend called just to remind her to "make sure he votes, we NEED his vote"--so I "threw away" my vote because FUCK both sides. So because they were basically strongarming me, I expect a slight dem lead, if those are the tactics theyre using (which I believe is not historically inaccurate for dems--"It would be a SHAME if ____ didnt win the election and your little union crumbled" type of shit). Even though I voted third party Im gonna go and see what shit people get up to no matter who wins.

I expect there to be drawn out vote-countings and court cases with the army of lawyers both sides have retained too.
I think a lot of people are expecting this, Ive heard someone say its almost guaranteed with the mail-in ballots, and I kind of agree.

isnt this like, HIGHLY FUCKING ILLEGAL?
Morally, pretty shitty, Im pissed. But its not voter fraud. Id rather pretend to vote to keep the peace at home, and just vote third party and hit skip on all the other things on the ballot. Im left leaning so I voted for some things blind on the state level, but I allowed myself to go because like 5 minutes before she came in to say "Alright are you ready" I happened to read someone saying they were voting libertarian and I was like, fuck it, let it burn. I was one of the youth who became instantly disillusioned with Obama by like 2010, so Im not voting for Biden, especially with his showing and the fact that most people are voting for him because "Its important its not Trump."

Ive never in my life had a presidential election that wasnt for "the least bad" and up until now I had vowed to never vote just because somebody was "the least bad".

I have 2 reasons why I think it will be close in favor of Biden.

1) People are tired and scared of all this Covid/ shit and may see voting for Biden as a way to go back to the good old days.

2) a lot of people are saying Trump will win which always makes me do a;

Honestly not sure what will happen, what I am sure is, it will be funny and millionaires will be happy.

It's gonna be an absolute shitshow and I wouldn't be surprised if it blows up into an actual civil war, anything is possible at this point.
I doubt its imminent, but I've come to the conclusion that it's inevitable. I'll be voting for Trump, on time and in person, as the Fathers intended, but the magic's gone. I won't be voting because I want to, I'll be doing it because it's my duty as an American and as a civilized man to give this every opportunity to not end with blood in the streets.

He's also going to lift the tariffs on Chinese imports so I can go back to buying affordable Chinese electric motors, bearings, and other industrial products instead of the overpriced American alternatives.

Really crossing my fingers for a Trump win. Someone has gotta make China fucking suffer for COVID, and it's certainly not going to be Joe Biden. Even with the Hunter Biden stuff aside, there's still the fact that Dems chose to come down on Trump instead of China for COVID so much you would think Trump was the catalyst instead of those vermin-fuckers. Then there's Joe Biden saying "we're going to make China play by the rules." Like how the fuck is he going to do that? Tell China to stand in the corner and think about what it's done? Trump has actually been taking action against China. The whole Kung Flu fiasco has made life harder not just for me, but for many of my friends, and dammit I'm not going to be happy until I see some squinty-eyed heads fucking roll.

I remember the day of the 2016 election I made a sort of plea for niceness on my social media page, that people be mature because I sensed that no matter who won the election, there would be a veritable shitstorm.

I look back on that and I cringe at my naivete while also feeling sad that everything got worse over the last 4 years. Fuck, this year alone's caused so much political anguish and I just want it over with.

I wish we could set up gladiatorial death matches between far left and far right, let them kill each other and try to start working on real progress like colonizing space.

I'm sick of hearing people fight constantly, there's no discussion or center anymore, no issue gets to be grey everything is black and white, either you're for or against, with us or against us, everyone gets a label and an armband.

Sure it was always like this to some extent but it wasn't ever this fucking bad, there is legitimately no nuance to anything anymore, everyone seems to be ready to kill someone over fucking political minutiae.

It's all terrifying when I think about what the logical conclusion of social divisions that deep is.

Jesus Christ.
I called my mom the other day and she said that me and my siblings not voting is indicative of her "failing as a parent", and then she corrected herself and said she meant to say she "failed to show how important the right to vote is to us".

I've seen too many people go crazy from engaging in partisan politics to go down that rabbit hole.
