Varies state by state, but generally 7a-9p is a good mark. Some places stay open later, until 11p, though the ballots are still usually tallied by around that point so barring miracles, anything that comes in after 9 doesn't really matter. Of course, you've also got the whole issue of timezones, which is why election-night coverage tends to only be useful in the case of landslides.

Since we've been able to mail or drop off ballots, eh, that really does all change. I believe my area's 7a-9p, if I had felt like going in person.

To be fair they're both pretty bad, but Joe Biden as he is today is probably worse. I can't believe he's seriously being considered with all the absolute garbage he's put out there.

Anyone who thinks Biden will win with more than the barest of margins needs to choke up their doom pill and either stop watching Alex Jones so much or stop watching CNN at all. The fix is not 'in', because if it were they wouldn't need to continue to rig the polls to make Biden look better than he is. They'd go with what's already there and say 'eh, it's like everyone said, the polls just weren't accurate (in favor of Biden instead)'. The continued push to demoralize third party and Trump voters means they don't think they have the election yet, and any cheating they have planned isn't enough for a sweep.

Further, all the cheating that the DNC prefers to do are 'after election day magical ballots found on recount' and while those are effective on local elections, they're never that effective in POTUS ones. Furthermore, there's a 6-3 conservative majority on the SCOTUS right now. Any contested election will safely go to Trump, and obviously bogus or suspicious votes are going to get skewered by the EC. Trump may not stomp Biden because there will be voter fraud, but it's much more likely that when the dust settles Trump is going to win by some margin than that Biden wins by any margin.

ETA- Anyone who honestly believes 'Biden has historically high polls!' or whatever is naive or fooling themselves. Conservatives and Trump supporters have been pointing out how wrong polls were last time (very) for at least a month now. The fact that the same people who skewed the polls last time are doubling down now going 'but this time it's really hopeless, honest!' doesn't suddenly make it genuine. It's a predictable kneejerk response to people calling them on their slant.
