The only question I have is who will actually be running the country? Kamala is a lightweight, she has the ambition but she just doesn't have the chops for the job. Jill? Nancy pretty much ran the White House with Jim Baker during Reagan's second term so I could see that. Or will it just be a shit show as all the factions and interests fight over who gets the gibs as the old man rots away?
From all indicators of Obama state department figures poised to return, it's going to be an Obama regency in all but name.

Just great. Kids with no idea of how the world actually works voting based on feefees instead of facts.

If I could have one wish, its that to be able to vote you need A) to have served in the military, and B) own land. But Im retarded so it should surprise no one that I hold such bass ackwards views...
Believe me, I'd much rather not vote, but my dad's forcing my hand here.

I voted. Zero line, but I now live in a tiny city full of old people that vote Trump.

Chicago was always a shitshow to vote in.

To be able to afford it guarantees that you'll have spent sufficient time in the work force and experienced enough human interaction outside of your parents to know (hopefully) how to spot pandering bullshit when you see it. Also, owning land means you have skin in the game.
Ill freely admit: its an extremely unpopular opinion and there are many holes to be poked in the "logic" of such a proposal, but in my opinion at least it would solve many of the uninformed/inexperienced feefee voter problems we have today.
Here's a few:
1. If the franchise is dependent on land ownership, there will be a market for micro purchases. Everyone will buy their 1"x1" plot and go on with their lives.
2. Owning land doesn't imply you worked for it or have experienced any human interaction, unless you plan on expropriating everyone's land when they die and forcing their heirs to use earned income to buy it back.
3. You're excluding people who spent time in the work force and invested in other asset classes because ... ?
4. If your argument is that someone must live on owned land, you're reducing their mobility or forcing them to sell under adverse conditions, which would be terrible for the economy and catastrophic for military members and families. It would be great for banks, real estate agents, and developers, though.
5. What about people who own condos or co-ops, are they counted as owning land? What about people who live on houseboats?
6. Veterans who live in military housing would be disenfranchised under your plan.
7. Owning land, or any other asset, doesn't inform people or nullify their feefees.

I get it, it's fun to put on the powdered wig and fight leveling. It's a bad idea IRL though.

Lets just hope things stay like that; I really do hope Donnie wins.

Honestly I don't like either of them, but I'm inclined to agree with you on that. Some people are saying my state could go red but it's a hell of a longshot.

I'll do my part to delay the inevitable communist revolution for the next few years, though.

Best idea is making taxation a requirement for voting. No taxation without representation, and no representation without taxation. This weeds out the parasites

Just voted, and surprisingly the polls were just about empty, I walked right in. I was expecting at least some sort of line. Guess all the mail-in people actually did have an impact on the poll numbers.
My voting station was empty but they were trying to get a tally of how many voted already. It was approximately 108 by 8 am this morning.

Place was full by the time I left.

If Biden wins, I'm expecting a shitshow down south. I won't throw around words like secession, but I could see it being a strong possibility depending on if there's confirmed fraud for Joe. This is MAGA country down here. Possibly literally soon.
The military would systematically occupy every square inch of the South before they let that happen again.
