This is both horrifying and exciting at the same time. Right now, I see so many lefty furries screeching on my twitter feed and it's fucking hilarious. If trump wins or loses, the salt on both sides will be entertaining.

This one made me laugh.

Bush Sr. Is a really good example. The man laid the smackdown on Iraq and strengthened America's situation in the Pacific and Eastern Europe, but because the economy shit the bed (through no fault of his own) he was soundly defeated.
I hear so many people cite this as the reason for Bush Sr.'s loss as if Ross Perot getting almost 20 million votes had nothing to do with it.

I just voted for Biden alongside multiple first time voting family members and those of friends, I'm only bringing this up because the farms seems to be in a safe space bubble where Trump will absolutely win and support is at an all time high. This type of insularity is not unique or indicative of anything, it makes the farms a bit disappointing really but the election's a toss up and I'm having fun all the way down.

People are voting more across the board, not just conservatively. Neg rate me to hell but I'm stocked up on booze and ready to find enjoyment in either outcome.

I’ve surprised that you think that about the farms, I’ve seen several posters over the past few weeks that aren’t lolcows that are voting for biden. I think what unifies the farms is watching the incessant screeching and butthurt so either way there will be entertainment

Just make sure to Praise Mr.moon!!

Can confirm with several members of my family.
They can't list a single thing they agree with in terms of the Democratic platform they're voting for. I don't think they've even looked into it.
Every response to inquiries shortly turns into, "Well...Republicans had their chance" and "the Dictator in Chief" which has been spoon fed into them since 2016.
All the Democrats people actually like are either term limited (Obama, Clinton) or other guys Biden's age. Biden is totally interchangeable, and you could run a failed Democrat candidate like Walter Mondale, Michael Dukakis (if one thing hurts Trump, his church photo-op during the riots appears to be like the Michael Dukakis tank photo), Al Gore, or even goddamn Jimmy Carter and get the same result.

Honestly, if the Democrats wanted to nominate a fossil, they probably should've dug up Jimmy Carter since anyone who doesn't remember his presidency thinks he's a pretty cool guy for his post-presidency and anyone left-wing who does remember his presidency hates Trump enough to vote for him. He's not as blatantly corrupt as Joe (and neither are the other Democrat fossils) either and his public image is that of an elder statesman. Maybe he was too obvious for the DNC's bait-and-switch scheme where Sleepy Joe will resign within two years because of health and put Kamala in office. He'd also be a great nostalgia candidate too since the DNC is banking on Obama nostalgia for the Biden campaign. Jimmy didn't even have to campaign either, just sit in the basement and say how great he is.
Arguably, hatred of Hillary Clinton propelled Trump to an extent. Still, I recall Clinton rallies were larger than what Biden has managed to churn out.
Hilldawg had genuine supporters, as much as her campaign was anti-Trump and sad in it's own right. But compared to Biden her campaign was masterful. You're with her, after all, you're voting her to continue onward to the superior future. Nobody wants to be Ridin' with Biden. Meanwhile Trump has gained a bigger fanbase compared to 2016 and still has the "I'm Republican, hate Trump, but fuck the Democrats" vote thanks to the rioting and lockdowns. If 2016 was an election between "who do you hate more", then 2020 is an election of "I love Trump and hate Democrats" versus "I hate Trump".

Jackson, Wilson, and both Roosevelts had actual appeal and represented something. Biden is incomparable with them.

Teddy Roosevelt had so much appeal that he's the reason Taft lost, not because Taft was that hated or Wilson that popular. Biggest 3rd party run ever, came in 2nd in the Electoral College.

She also had admirers. I mean they were all middle and upper class white women but she had actual fans. Biden is riddin’ on Obama’s coattails.
