To my knowledge Trump hasn't molested his children or sold the US out to the Chinese. Biden has. That's good enough for me at this point. Not that it really matters what I think.... but I don't pretend that Trump is a good man. He's just far better than Biden imo.

I think Trump was accused of asking if he could come into a teen beauty pageant dressing room and then doing so, plus he borrowed Jeffrey Epstein's plane once as well they were at some of the same parties that billionaires go to. The plane thing is weird, but apparently it's routine for the ultra wealthy to borrow each other's planes since sometimes ends up in a different city due to their traveling habits and they can need to have it flown back home anyway, so essentially people hitch a ride on semi-strangers planes. Same thing happened with the Clintons with billionaires letting them hitch rides.

It all sounds more nefarious than it really was.

For an example of what all people end up overlooking (with the media's help of course), Trump ended the Patriot Act this year by threatening to veto it so the Dems have indefinitely postponed the vote (likely in the hopes their candidate got in).

The Patriot Act was considered one of the largest horror shows of the Bush terms and Trump goes and ends the thing without hardly anyone noticing.

Holy Shit, how did I not know of this? I consider myself one of the more informed people I know politically and this got right by me.

I almost want to ring a very anti-Trump friend of mine who, when I met her, was virilantly against W. Bush but now is one of those "Trump is way worse than Bush" types. But last time I spoke to her she was insisting that Trump called Nazis "very fine peope" and claimed to have watched the video where he did it, so I feel it's pointless. Still, nice to have one more thing to add to the list next time I get into such a conversation.

I think an actual balkanization is incredibly unlikely due to geopolitical implications. It would diffuse a lot of cultural tensions tho.
