One of the big things here is that the meme "demographic shift 2020, never another republican" idea is dead in the water. Republicans are finding out how to successfully court the latinos, which virtually ensures that Florida and Texas remain red strongholds. The fact that the reds are having such a strong showing in the house when their overall message was overall fractured and kind of dogshit shows how the democrat pivot to the left has failed miserably. The average American does not buy the mainstream horeshit about nazis, but they are absolutely fucking terrified of communists.

I hate to be the "both sides" guy but does ANYBODY believe that the election is just 100% legit and valid for dems or reps? This is arguably the most important event in the entire country and the process is relatively opaque. Is that not the recipe for ASSURED shenanigans?
maybe the feds are trying to dare the entire population into having a civil punch-up so that they can move in and deal with it themselves

It is a pity. Big tech needs to be railed in, and we at least had US off our backs and only fighting with the EU, but I guess its back to the old situation. We managed before under Coonbama, we will manage under Sleepy Joementum.

Though it is hilarious how the senile establishment guy owned the left's populist Bernie and the right's populist Trump both.

Can we replace Harris with Hilary? For the maymays.

Georgia secretary of state says not enough votes left for Biden to win

If so, + NC, AZ, and PA = 275 for Trump. Wisconsin and Michigan still have outstanding votes in GOP areas according to the Trump campaign and NV still in play :story:

Are you not entertained by this shit going down to the wire and beyond? It's wonderful, we wont have a preliminary result for at least a week and a final result until the Supreme Court says so 🤣

Like I said, I think there is going to be a lot of salt form the left even if Biden wins because the election was too close.

They will till see Trumplets and Goober Gators around every corner.
But they probably won't say shit when Biden puts kids in cages or causes American deaths with warmongering and shit.

Both the GOP and the Dems are fucked as far as I'm concerned. Ultimately I think we'd be getting mostly the same shit either way.

Is Tim just coping? Or is there more evidence? this thread moves fast and I am lazy :p

Oh and what about the House and the senate? If Biden wins will he be as lame as Obama? Or even better could the Republicans impeach him on his first day in office? I want that to happen please!!!!
Betting sides had pulled AZ, but now it's back up, so it's possible I suppose, but AP still has Arizona called for Biden. Then again, I haven't heard anything happening in Arizona so I am not sure

No, the math gives Biden 270 exactly.

100% this. Biden has a large base of non-enthusiastic support that's ripe for ballot harvesting and Trump has a small, but enthusiastic base of support that don't care if they win through legal shenanigans, as long as they win.

What we really need is election reform.

On another note, ya'll really ought to be wishing for maximum shit show. I haven't checked the numbers to see if it's still possible, but just imagine: A tie in the electoral college, leaving congress to decide the election. Followed by a house of representatives that elects Biden as president, and a senate that elects Pence as vice president.

I don't think you could get more entertaining than that.

The whale movie was fun.
Wraith of Khan/Search for Spock/Voyage home is a wonderfully trilogy. Search for Spock is pretty good but suffers a bit from being the middle movie. Search for Spock has a nice payoff in The Undiscovered Country adding to Kirk's anti Klingon sentiments.
Could faithless electors screw this up for Biden or Trump?

No. That never happens. Not even in 2000.

You know I thought of something, neoliberals and progressives will be happy to see Trump lose no doubt. However going by the landslide predictions and overwhelming turnout and shit. Its a big disappointment for them how close this election truly is and Trump managed a higher turnout than Obama and Hillary. And the guy who voted for because he had a D after his name, they ignored all his sins and now they have to confront that they put a neocon, pro-war, authoritarian leaning, racist and capitalist in the White House who will bring back the Bush and Obama era of expanded military presence every fucking where. And those troops are now staying in Iraq and Afghanistan lol as Biden made no promises to bring them back.

In short summary, they will be happy if Trump loses, that he lost but disappointed at the margin of victory and how it was done. It was not a election night 1984 style blowout and Trump managed to prove that even though he will leave, many of their fellow citizens are still there who believe in his ideals.

I voted for Madame President in 2016 as Trump was a big unknown. Over the year I liked what he has done and he won me over. Well I thank GEOTUS for showing me how liberals are full of shit and even worse compared to conservatives in some aspects like how they deal with racial minorities.
Regardless of what happens in the Presidential race, this election cycle was not a good one for the Democrat party. The GOP gained a state legislature, they didn’t lose but actually gained seats in the House, and they held the Senate.

The GOP actually did very well down ballot, which means that regardless of who wins, the congressional gridlock will keep the country relatively stable at the federal level.

The presidential race will only have an impact on Executive regulations and foreign policy. Which would be somewhat disappointing if Biden wins, because it means that the Wilsonian foreign policy we've had for nearly 100 years will continue. Trump wouldn't have killed Wilsonianism completely by 2024, but he could have demonstrated that America doesn't need it and would be better off without it.
