The important question is will republicans stonewall Biden as hard as possible like they initially did for Obama or will they magically fold the moment they face any resistance as they have since the party existed? If Biden is atleast partially stonewalled, we likely wont face any new sweeping legislature on guns. No this is going to be Obama term 2 levels of obstructionism. Reason being that statistically the most productive (and most opinion formative) days of a presidency are the first 100 days. The closeness of this election. Biden just barely beat Trump in the popular vote showing that at least a little less than half of America is tired of the democrats bullshit. This may in fact force them to reconsider their strategy (one of the reasons they were so bullheaded after last election was Hillary's much wider lead in the popular vote).

Hillary's popular vote margin was about 2.9 million.

Biden's margin is currently 3.5 million and growing (I'd say it'll end up between 4 and 4.5 million once all the big Dem states like Cali finish counting).

Biden expanded Clinton's lead in the popular vote.
