Having seen the inner workings of the government firsthand, that isn't really accurate. You see a lot of the same type and caliber of people, but the actual turnover is pretty high, especially during election years. Every few years there is some pivot in policy where people are cleared out for others that are "better suited" to take on the new directives. Burnout is also very high, and those administrative bureaucrats frequently leave their high stress government jobs to take cushy high paying administrative jobs in the private sector.
Corruption hollows out the soul and there is no room for straight shooters.

I find it funny everyone is sperging out now but the call to the Electorial Counts won't even go out until December 14th when the real elections go on.

Sooo counting mail in ballots is wrong then I guessin?
Yes. There's no way to ensure the person who completed a mail in ballot is actually the voter. We know voting rolls have incorrect addresses and dead people on them. We know the USPS routinely fails to deliver mail for various reasons. These problems may be immaterial under the traditional voting system, but they can be catastrophic under a mail in voting system. There's no way to make mail in voting reliable without redesigning the system from the ground up. Only ballots cast in person and absentee ballots should be counted. Mail ins should be treated as provisional ballots. Let the people who cast them present themselves before an election official to verify their identity and their ballot.

If we have to have a mail in system, start designing it now, go through a public approval process, then maybe do a pilot in the midterms.

California, Oregon, and Washington are blue. How’s that working out for them?
Fun fact: one party rule is invariably bad no matter what the party is. You could have a party consisting entirely of saints and if you gave it one party rule it would be absolute shit.
