Virtually 100%. I honestly do not expect him to concede even if the court fails him. I think there has been enough perceived fuckery (I personally think that, at most, fuckery may have changed only a few thousand votes nationally, not enough to matter) that he can sit in the White House and go "yeah it was a sham election, I demand a rematch with some absurd stipulations or I'm not moving." There is literally nothing in the Constitution that accounts for this. There is no course of action for anyone to take within the confines of the law. The US doesn't have laws for snap elections or redos like European countries or Israel.
There is literally something in the Constitution to account for that. Which would be Article II, Section 1.

A candidate conceding or not has absolutely no legal significance. There is no constitutional requirement for it, it is not at all mentioned in the constitution or any law. It's not even a formality, just a political nicety and tradition, that's it.

The electoral college meets and votes, then those results get sent to Congress to affirm (or contest it, but that's never happened).

Then on Jan 20th the winner is sworn in, regardless of how bad the looser screams in protest.

If Trump refused to leave (which he won't because he's not actually that stupid) the Secret Service would literally carry him out the fucking door.

@Null regardless of who wins, please keep the site blue? It's pretty easy on the eyes.
Yeah I just got back since it's been changed today and it's kinda nice.

On another note, I'm enjoying the absolute fucking shitshow this has become and am mildly optimistic that if nothing else, it finally unveils some sort of voter fraud going on and then the entire system gets called into question..
Perhaps voter IDs will be cool again? Rainbow.

Things will get better. It'll take more than one fucking election to make America fall.
How many elections would it take? If things started to down turn with Obama, that's two, Trump beating Hilary really broke people's brains, so three, if Biden wins this, Harris will become President, so we're up to four, and I believe the Dems with all their threats to keep power. If we get a back doored Harris Presidency off the back of a guy who's not all there and barely campaigned, along with shady vote counting in key states, I don't think elections are going to matter from here on out.

Nah, they'll be a republican senate for at least 2 years. So nothing will get done and Section 230 is safe so at least there'll still be Kiwi Farms.

Does he really want to hang on to power at any cost? Or does he just want to be able to leave while avoiding admitting that he lost? I'm sure we all recall the quibbling that went on about whether or not Hillary really won the popular vote, or whether or not Trump's inauguration had the biggest crowd ever. This might just be a more awful version of that kind of behavior.
That's true. However by him refusing to admit he lost, he signals to those who voted for him that (to him, at least) the election was illegitimate.

Hillary Clinton dug her claws in, but did, in the end, concede defeat and accept that Trump was elected President. Is it not his duty as that President to do the same thing? If not to maintain calm for the benefit of the United States?

Its same hyde is come to school shit kiwifarms.

Would they? You know that for a fact? Because I don't. And if they did, do you think the dotards around the country that have been stockpiling guns and explosives will let it happen?

Well, that explains it.

Seriously, dude, I know I've been dunking on you all night, but mixing that shit isn't good for you, and neither is being such a doomer. Also, you've said you're pursing a career in medicine, and trust me, man, if you get busted doing that shit, your ass is gonna be grass.

Just take a breath, and calm down. Everything's going to be okay.
Awwe, it's nice when the Kiwi's can be wholesome amongst each other.

The date is 11/5/2020

Hmm. What was that rhyme...
Something something the 5th of November
...gunpowder, treason...
If we see a bunch of Trump supporters come out in Guy Fawkes masks around the nation to protest, let alone armed protest, that would just be icing on the cake for this brand of HAPPENING.

Don't get my hopes up for entertainment we may not get.

Media won't let him. They will declare Joe the winner making Trump look like a sore loser and turning public opinion against him, forcing Trump to concede.

The media essentially won the election for Joe.

Yeee-eees but..

We already knew that they would do that. Even before this kicked off we knew that approximately half of the country would refuse to be governed by Trump. I just don't see how it changes anything. Joe will still piss himself while declaring victory, Kamala will shed nigger tears, blah blah blah. Having the legal backing to declare victory just gives Trump extra weight, it doesn't actually do anything about the original problem. And the original problem is that the corporate left has too much of the country wrapped up in them.

The media can melt down and chimp out all they want, but if the Supreme Court goes "Trump won a bazillion electoral votes, Biden only won twelve" then they have to report it, they can't just go "ah yes the Supreme Court totes did Y instead of X." Even if they seethe about it, they have to report the official results of a Supreme Court ruling.

But again, it doesn't do anything about the OG problem. It just means that Trump has the legal weight as the President.

I think that so many people got focused on the election that they didn't think about what comes after, lol. But it was always going to be a problem to enforce a Trump victory on the country.

If this does go to the Supreme Court, even if after the recounts and whatever else show that Biden wins, could the judges just decide "Eh, fuck you, Trump 4 more years" and get away with it? I don't know much about how the court works other than just 9 old people voting on stuff so maybe I'm just being retarded.

It will depend on what shape the legal challenge actually takes. For all we know the Supreme Court could go "no you dumb niggers you can't use [% of fake ballots] and your deadline is Friday." And that will be that.

Or they could go "no you dumb niggers these votes are actually all punched for Biden, and you need to accept that." And that will be that.

What actually gets presented to the Supreme Court is a bit of a moving target right now.
