The next populist president can't try and do it alone like Trump did. They will need to have a full party behind them, with a cadre of people that can be trusted, ready to fill the top 100-300 positions of government. Think of all the shitty people he's appointed to powerful positions because he just doesn't have that many.

Trump will likely ask for a recount in GA and he'll likely be granted one due to how extremely close GA is. Biden will likely ask for the same thing if Trump manages to hold onto it somehow. So to me GA's results don't matter at all for another few days at least.

Except for salt reasons of course, the best reasons.

Also Trump himself is saying he allowed, under his watch, massive voter fraud to repeat (he claimed it happened in 2016) and China fabricating a virus that damaged the US.

Isn't the Justice Department part of the US government? He had four years to fix the "massive fraud".

Where is the massive wall Mexico was going to pay?

It will be interesting to see his tax returns though, I wonder why he has been hiding them.

Unfortunately as an ex-President he will still have Secret Service protection and taxpayers will still pay for security when he goes on his golfing trips and they have to rent bungalows and lots of rooms in his hotel to protect him.

What's really pathetic is that all of this could have been avoided if our leaders were more disciplined.

This election is beyond tainted and it has fundamentally destroyed America's faith in the electoral process. That doesn't lead anywhere good. Even the appearance of impropriety is horribly damaging and there is a great deal of impropriety appearances around this. I can think of a few ways to fix it, heck I imagine most people on this forum could, but it is the way it is by design thanks to TPTB.

Like I said earlier in this thread, this problem was always going to persist. There is still the fundamental issue that, no matter who becomes president, 50% of the country will simply refuse to be governed. Nothing can fix that right now. And we have our leaders to thank for that. It would be easy to diss the camp followers as well but let's face it, supporters take their cues from their leaders anyway.

Others have pointed it out but at this rate I think we'll be lucky if we get an IRA vs Northern Ireland situation here.

How did we fall so greatly? The tendrils of the bankers really set into politicians during that progressive era. Before that they were usually real statesmen. When James Polk told you he was gonna buy Oregon and genocide all mexicans from here to the Pacific, he meant it.

I think the reason Trump has been looking real down is that even if he manages to win in the courts, his second term is absolutely tainted. He may eke out a technical victory, but he can only lose spiritually. Same goes for Biden, but he's just a warm body to throw across the finish line anyway.

I find the idea of Brazilian military intervention to be hilarious at best, yeah right we're going to have foreign troops sent to US Soil to defend King Cheeto. OK maybe it is possible, but still. All this fuckery is entertaining, I will be sad if Orange Man loses but only because of wasted salt potential. Biden's just going to get puppeteered by Hunter or something if not outright retired soon after the transfers and whatnot. It'll be Bizarro to 1980s USSR, he might get replaced by yet another succession of almost dead baby boomers.
