I have some context to offer.

Sydney Powell mentions at 18:26 in this interview a couple days ago that she formed her own team that isn't paid by the Trump campaign.

There clearly was no grand plan - you give these people too much credit. We’re three weeks past the election. No substantive lawsuits have been won. Not a single vote has been thrown out. States have already started to certify.

The W.H. has no real plan left at this point, so they’re just throwing random shit out to see if anything sticks and hoping for a miracle. Powell was initially a part of that approach. But then Powell double-downed on batshit crazy every day for like four fucking days straight until both she and the remnants of the Trump campaign looked completely fucking insane to 80% of the country. She was cut loose because she was too nuts even for Giuliani and the rest of the crew.

I mean, she thinks she can go on tv and accuse a republican governor of conspiring with Venezuela, the CIA, and an election machine company to throw an election to a democrat? And that republican members of congress that have said Biden won are pedophiles? Her position with the campaign was completely untenable, and it was just a matter of time until she tossed.

Zero of them have any interest in actually doing that. Even if they did, Trump still needs three states to do it. Even if that happened, Governors would just send their own competing slate of electors, and courts would almost certainly rule that these are the legitimate electors.

But hell. Let’s say three state legislatures send their own electors that disagree with the election results and the courts don’t step in. EVEN THEN they’d have to be accepted by both houses of congress before they can vote in the electoral college. The House is controlled by Democrats and would never sign off on that. And there’s enough Republicans in the Senate who have already said Biden won to block them as well.

There’s about a one in one billion chance that Trump changes the election results this way. That still doesn’t prevent the left from screeching about this on Twitter, or right wing boomers on Facebook from talking about how Trump can still win. It’s hilarious and maddening.
