It is amazing how the worlds greatest democracy gets baffled by voting.

Not so much baffled as invested to the point where if something seems remotely off, we will rabidly pounce on it like a metaphor on an applicable situation. The mechanics of the US voting system are working as intended, it is just the partisan divide this political cycle is driving up the drama something fierce. This is a race for control over federal law enforcement, the military, and nuclear controls, so tensions are always gonna be high.

EDIT: He’s also pretty well studied and has a lot of experience and seems supremely qualified. I can see why they had him write the opinion. It’s pretty good in explaining the rationality of the court and how they all backed it. Good judge appointment overall.
