I don't believe that. Every country has middle class men, and middle class men create a market for teledoctors, who will prescribe you just about anything (though it is sadly very hard to find someone willing to prescribe you adderall without an ADHD diagnosis). You might be paying as much as the medicine itself costs each month for the prescription, but you probably can get one, in any developed country. And I reckon finasteride+teledoctor subscription is still going to be less than the average woman spends on her hygiene and appearance in a month. We go through shampoo, conditioner, retinols, exfoliants, moisturisers, sunscreen, vitamin serums, tooth whiteners, and makeup, and many use even more than that. Men... use a 3-in-1 body+face+hair soap, and maybe shaving foam. A few of them might bother with moisturiser.
They can afford hair loss medicine.

All the men I knew who took meds for their bald heads end up looking like pajama boys and, in the end, either shave their heads and get it over with or spend serious money on surgery. It's fucking insane to me the side effects that turn men off of certain medications and how so many of those same men find the idea of women who refuse birth control bizarre. I'm not against birth control blanketly, but I can't get over how common it is for women who get a laundry list of side effects to be told to just shop around until they find a pill that isn't completely debilitating while men are validated for whinging over a vastectomy reversal possibly failing.
