Sidenote: I do not believe there were 150 comments but I do believe there were more to this story.
I've been in these groups and the men shitting their pants about it are delusional and histrionic, as usual.
The pages are so autistically targeted by assmad men that they have to follow the strictest rules possible on Facebook in order to be allowed to stay active. (Meanwhile, FB turns a blind eye to pages of outright incel content) Men are only allowed to be referred to by their initials and baseless speculation is a bannable offense. Making fun of the guy for his appearance or awkward, but normal, behavior is frowned upon and users will immediately tell you off for doing so. The women involved are actually incredible at self-policing, unlike most male-dominated groups, and they tend to be quite fair, encouraging, and egalitarian. And contrary to incel rhetoric, they cheer women on for pursuing the ugliest of men -- "you go, girl!" messages for discussions on fat, ugly, bald, old, short men. Hardly a community of women teaching their sisters the secrets of hypergamy, pettiness, and fraud.
What men appear on these pages? Men who are secretly married with kids. Men who are cheating on their longtime girlfriends and admit it within their very own bios. Men with STDs. Men with domestic violence or sexual assault convictions. Men who exhibit absolutely abhorrent behavior, with screenshots to prove it -- outright abusive behavior before the first date even happens, men who are insulting and cruel, men who turn vicious the moment you say something that doesn't agree with them. Men who have raped, hit, or stolen money from the women they've met from dating apps. (My "favorite" was the guy who invoiced his ex for $2000 of "pay to date" fees for moneys he spent on dating her over the course of 4 years, despite living rent-free and unemployed in her lakehouse)
On my page, there was a man who had run over his girlfriend a week after they broke up. She left behind a 7-year-old daughter (not his). His dad bailed him out and he immediately went onto the apps for dates. His profile was not banned, despite having an article with his mugshot and crime posted online.
Another time, there was a man I almost matched with, but felt like something was off and decided against it. (Men would mock me for this, as they often encourage women to go against their intuition and gut feeling in order to give them, or even just random men, a chance) Two months later, he appears on the page -- video recordings of him having a psychotic episode and breaking down the bedroom door of the woman he was seeing as her roommate frantically called the cops. He's still on the apps.
Yet men... HATE that we use these pages, or even find them necessary. No matter how much evidence you show them, how much you try to convince them, tell them real-life stories, show them evidence, bring up personal examples... They are so dead-set in their delusions that you are just making it all up, and these are misandrist pages designed for shaming and mocking men who aren't 6'5" rich buff chads, teaching the ways of getting free meals, and destroying the reputations of men who didn't act perfectly on dates. This tinfoil of theirs is so fucking ridiculous to even say out loud, but they vehemently believe it. And they all conveniently have an anonymous "friend" who just happened to have his romantic life upended because of false claims on these pages, even though a fraction of women on apps use them or even know about them, and only a fraction of that fraction post men.
(Not to mention that the pages constantly deal with men trying to worm their way into the groups, or have their female friends join just to snitch on the users)
Tbh, I used to be so sheltered and happy-go-lucky about men. Dating, specifically dating apps, was a tough blackpill. Straight-up being told to my face that my negative experiences were just a lie or overblown neuroticism, and that I must have been the one to ruin things. That I'd be happier if I just lowered my standards even further and swallow even more shit. Dealing with dozens and dozens of boring, rude, offensive, or cruel men who spew abuse or monkey-branch to another match, yet getting told that I surely must have it easy, with 1000s of amazing Christian men I'm ignoring to chase after a few chads. And now, men trying to blackmail, ban, or expose women for trying to share negative experiences and keep other women safe, because of the pure invention that all women are on their to encourage each other's bad behavior.
I used to think just deleting the apps would solve things. But too many men have "educated" off-app men about "female dating behavior" and now they're ruined, too.
