Kids these days simply have no grasp of what's happening outside of this country. The American experience is so heavily centralized that they're kind of just making shit up atp.
I think there are two explanations for this phenomenom.
One is that kids really can't travel around the world as much as they used to due to the economy making airplane tickets and just travel expenses absurdly high which in turn they are kind of forced to stay in the States and the only affordable vacation they could do is maybe a roadtrip around the States. Usually having a friend group would make the travel expenses much easier for them, but you got to remember that now recent studies show that lots of American zoom zoomers don't really have big friend groups as previous generations used to and I think this is the side-effect of these kids being denied proper socialization because of the whole coof shit in 2020.
The other explanation is that if they do have the resources to afford a themselves a trip to visit somewhere outside USA, they straight up won't because the
probably operate under the mindset of "Why should I spent this amount of money to go to some random country in Europe or Asia when I can expierence
the same thing but cheaper in another state here"
Travelling around the world tends to remind people that there are others places that function differently existing in this world, in a way it kind of humbles
you in a way and it reminds you that you're not in the center of the world. But there's also the issue with that too.
In the context of this thread, I don't think telling (American) men to go travel and see the world works an advice anymore
in the same way telling therapy repulsed men to seek therapy instead of expecting women in his life to be his emotional
sponges. Much how when a man does go to therapy instead of actually taking advice and applying the things he was taught
to control himself and the emotions, he instead just straight up doesn't learn anything except to find a way to weaponize
the therapy speak he learned from his therapist to emotionally manipulate women, the man that gets advised to travel
somewhere and to see different cultures won't do it for the experience but in hopes of getting laid, I mean Passport bros
exist for this particular reason.

Again I do think this is a massive consequence of most of zoom zoomies being denied proper socialization because of the pandemic that happened in 2020 and being a generation that was literally raised on the Internet.

On another note, I was out soothing my painful interaction at the post office with a delicious burger and overheard this woman telling a short, fat autist what he should say to a friend they were going to see who had something kind of trivial, but devastating to a male, happen to him.
I almost got mad at her for inflicting that fucking retard on her stupid friend. I don't know their relationship, but I figure they were kind of related for how she was trying to generate empathy by mentioning their relatives. It was like, I know he's your brother/cousin but why are you pity dragging him around like an anchor. Leave him in the basement and go see your friend and interact like the proper empathetic human you are.
