I just need to rant about the state of future moids. (even though its been like this since the dawn of time) Without power leveling too much, my boyfriend works with at-risk youth (mainly boys) who have gotten in trouble with the law. I live in a small town and this program is pretty large considering the population. He told me that the majority of boys they have in the program are there because they’re either rapists or some sort of sex offender. Today one of them sexually assaulted a girl who was there. Total Moid Death now, there’s no hope for the future

I know someone who worked with some random kids from juvie for some job placement thing and he noted that the girls just seemed super sad/shy/obviously traumatized while all the guys were super aggressive and like threatened to kill some lady's dog and would keep telling random girls to stfu. I just don't get why we don't admit that only people who internalize their problems rather than externalize them can be rehabilitated already. It's just crazy to me that both of them ended up in the same place despite one of them *'clearly* being less of a danger and more fixable than the other.

A lot of the kids I knew in school who were in juvie (were also all moids btw iirc) ended up reoffending as adults and even earlier than that. Due to my travels I have been able to take part at them in Asia, the US and Europe and I was very surprised how many young women showed up and asked very interested questions no matter which division we were just in IT, production, sales or research. The police are so useless when it comes to preventing stalkers from murdering us. There are far too many cases of police inaction resulting in women being killed by the men they said would kill them if something wasn't done. Restraining orders aren't worth the paper they're written on. Even if the police decide to come when you call, they never get there in time. Half the time, even when the guy does get convicted for physically harming the woman he's stalking, they just let him out early so he can finish the job.

The law isn't designed to protect us, so at a certain point we have to protect ourselves. In a legal manner, of course (nice try, feds). If the law where I lived wouldn't allow me to carry a weapon that could actually protect me, I would consider moving somewhere else.

Women, MOTHERS are the real unsung heroes for putting up with both (sometimes more) jobs they can have. One is their daytime/nighttime job, the other is the job of a mother and their exploited role in families as daughters and sisters. Most men can't balance for shit or multitask like women can so all the baggage of chores and children is placed on the woman's shoulders in a marriage, and in family its shoving her into the caretaker position if something happens to a grandparent. Women can't really escape their jobs with children or men (or parasitic families...). Men can and do all the time, they escape with hobbies and downtime that women never seem to get in these dynamics. My mom worked at different jobs AS A BREAK from her household "job" since she grew up as a busy bee and because it was a way of detoxifying I guess. The ugly hard familial tasks no one wanted to deal with always got put on her shoulders, it's so unfair and selfish of her family to do it to her but she didn't even complain about it. She got very stressed about it because she wanted to live her own life like her sister can, so she moved away from them to escape that toxic and unreliable bullshit. I used to naively think family would always be there for you but evidently not in many cases.

The only people who matter are the ones closest to you that you've been with your whole life and people you can truly rely on and live with, that's family. Not people who shove their unwanted laundry list onto you just because you happen to be related by blood like my mother was treated.
