Women don't really care about height. I didn't know height was a thing men were insecure about until like 2 years ago. Being tall is a plus in a lot of women's eyes but it is men convincing other men than being less than 6 ft is a dealbreaker.

A man recently asked me if there was any profession/hobby a man could be in where I would assume automatically he was gay, and apart from being a gay porn actor I couldn't think of anything. Men have convinced other men that skincare/dancing/cheerleading/gardening/musicals/fashion is gay. Women don't care about that.

Do we care about height as much as the men say that we care about height? Because my only real height exclusion criterion for dating is that the man needs to be just a little bit taller than me - that is, he needs to be '5 "5 or taller. And I could probably let it slide to '5 "3 if there were other enhancing factors at play, because height is just not an attribute I assess that highly. I can even see it the other way; with unusually-tall genes on my mother's side, I'm familiar with my uncles' struggles. Cars don't fit you, planes don't fit you, pants are too short, shirts are too small, the counter is too low, and you're constantly smacking your head on the doorframes like Gandalf in Bilbo's burrow. You end up buying 3-row honker SUVs and Jeeps for the "headroom". Tall people = big feet, mom always had to order shoes from catalogs at '5 "11 and a honking size 11 women's US shoes. If you're cursed-by-an-eldritch-god-tall, like this guy, you die an early death from cardiac insufficiency.

How important is height to you? Should the short moids rope? How short is too short?

I'm 5'8" and fine with a guy who is at least 5'6". I tend to be more attracted to taller guys (and by that I mean taller even by an inch), true, but I don't treat attraction with the formulaic obsession that incels do. It would just be nice to feel like the tiny gf in his lap and in need of protection, for once, instead of the borzoi spilling out of it and having to stand up for him lmao.

And as someone who has actively pursued, made moves, propositioned, etc. "short kings," I concur with others in this thread that men care WAY more about it than women do. I notice this so often. At work, I'd have to drag a chair or step ladder around to do maybe a third of my job and so often I'd get male customers noting how "cute" it was I had to lug it around to grab something. The "guys like short girls" comments also rubbed me the wrong way. Why would I give a shit what some pornbrained faggot likes? I'm just trying to do my job. I prefer tall moids. It's purely an aesthetic choice, they just look better. "OMG THAT'S SO SHALLOW, STOP LIKING TALL CHADS NOOOO!!" is like if someone got offended by you not being attracted to niggers because it's raycis. Yeah I know they can't help that they're black but I don't care, hearing that doesn't suddenly make me feel attracted to them.

Never been into a manlet in my life. Face and weight are also important though. There are moids of around average height who can be conventionally attractive because they have other redeeming features but I only date with serious intentions so it has to be someone whose genes I like enough to pass on and that would only be a guy above 6 ft. The taller the better.

Moids have all sorts of unrealistic expectations about women's appearance but if women dare to have any physical standards, it's a problem? Dating is inherently exclusionary, you don't have to do charity work for ugly men

Funny that he leaves out the fact that your average child back in ye olde days was entering the work force at five years old to help out their parents with rent.
