It's honestly been watered down into meaning 'any chick who rocks the boat in stead of just lying down and taking it'. OFC in reality it's a person who starts conflict just for the sake of conflict itself (to put it simply), and doesn't that sound familiar? Now the types who start conflict just to cause problems go around projecting the BPD label onto women who so much as react at all in any way other than bowing down to them and groveling. It's pathetic and they've completely destroyed the term in the same way that the lefties have destroyed terms such as "mental health" and "PTSD", but in an actually hypocritical way that's very typical of their general nature.
Even quacks (only men, AFAIK) in the mental health care industry with a government paycheck use BPD as their go-to diagnosis to bolster their quota numbers for the sake of job security. They'll slap the label onto any woman they've spoken to just once who wants a divorce after her husband got physically violent with her with a police response and physical evidence on record proving it. Often after, someone sees "BPD" and "woman" on the same report file and just tallies it up without looking at session length, number of sessions, reason for session, active pending abuse cases, nothing. Otherwise, someone who gives even half of a fuck will see the discrepancies, strike the diagnosis from her record altogether or require extensive follow ups before it can go onto her record, but either way Dr Quackfuck still got his numbers. It's that bad.
