about the smell thing; before I found this thread I would usually go days without showering with the belief that "oh I feel fine and nobody is complaining so I must be totally ok." but then I read this thread and learned how much it makes you passively stink (especially to women, who I think naturally have better senses of smell?) and it made me feel embarrassed that I could be so stupid. i shower every single day now, and you know what? it feels GOOOOD to be clean all the time. good personal hygiene is AWESOME. i don't know how fat weebs at anime cons with stink potent enough to qualify as a chemical weapon don't kill themselves with how disgusting they smell.

you girls are way better company than the toxic male tossers on other parts of this site that shit up every thread with unsubstantiated bile. getting to actually see the unfiltered thoughts of real women has been invaluable.

It's because we don't recognize our own smell. We're trapped with ourselves 24/7. Any hikki NEET depressed type, regardless of sex, has gone without showering. It's one of the most common signs of depression, laziness, or just a fucked up hobo life, etc. People around us always notice before we do. And yes, when you are in that mindset, hearing "take a bath, you'll feel better" is annoying, but true. Wash them asses, crotches, pits, and folds, niggas.

I mean, in your case, I think it might be better, but it’s more the types of people that tend to use dating sites more than the dating sites themselves. I believe it’s definitely possible to find someone, but both men and women will at times add in absurd requirements and then complain they never matched with anyone. Then there’s also the risk of it just being a bot and not an actual person. Finally, the people that will outright lie or use the site for bad intentions, such as preying on people for sex/money. It’s possible to find quality, but there’s a lot more things to watch out for that are easier to tell with in person rather than online.

A major issue I encountered in dating sites and apps is that no man can hold a conversation longer than 1 minute without begging to fuck or immediately becoming braindead. It was beyond painful to try to force (first mistake) a man into having a genuine conversation. I kept running into dead ends with “nm hbu lol” “wyd?” “hru?”. Did anyone else have this issue on dating sites? I was amazed at the amount of men who wanted to find “the one” but had nothing of value to say. Typical lol.

I am old and married to a lovely nigel, so I'm very fortunate to have never dealt with this. But I see all you young straight women dealing with this bullshit and my heart goes out to you.

You can find a million examples of this behavior online and they're often accompanied with the follow up texts when the woman didn't respond "correctly." Always some variation of "I didn't want to talk to you anyway you fat whore I make 6 gorillion $$$ a year and you just lost your chance you stupid bitch!!111!!!1!" And I have to wonder, where was this ability to form full sentences before? If you're capable of expressing a cohesive thought, why lead with "wyd show bobs & vagene." Seems counterproductive if you ask me.

I am also married now to a lovely man, but those days were horrifying. Men of all races acting inept and braindead to the art of a genuine conversation. It was endlessly frustrating to try to match with men who had an somewhat interesting profile only to get “nm wbu lol wyd 2nite lets meet” :(

I heard it’s not much better for dykes, as according to my lovely dyke friends, but I think it may be an issue with young people in general, and then when you put young inept men who are foaming at the idea of a woman rejecting them because they lack basic reading and writing comprehension, the result is chaotic.

I found that men were at their grossest when it came to dating apps. Granted, if someone is being that upfront about their disgusting dehumanizing fetishes that's a bullet dodged immediately.

Tbh it’s worse for dykes even because most lesbians are pooning out and poisoning themselves with testosterone, the dating pool is getting viciously cut down.
