I really don’t understand how anyone would want violent or degrading sex. It is fully beyond my comprehension. If you want to engage in sex acts that have the possibility to leave you or your partner seriously injured or dead, then maybe you should examine why that is and why you would want to subject someone you purport to love to that, and/or consider never having sex ever. I Think the same way about BDSM generally too. I don’t think a desire for degrading sex is healthy.

I think it depends a lot on the societal circles you hang out in. In super liberal pozzed sex-positive circles you definitely get shit for being "boring vanilla".
