I already thrown my 2 cents into the whole tomboy discourse, I think adult women can be tomboys or at least masculine but my issues stems from the fact men who push this tomboy fetishism shit have an incredibly shallow definition of a tomboy because to them it's like Lidl mentioned in the thread it's one from an anime/hentai which is "short hair, tan skin, have muscles but not too much of it all the while they still conveniently have a very feminine figure such as having child bearing hips and tits/no tits (depending on the person's fetish)" and the fact that people who gush about tomboys, most of them time were the ones that called tomboys 10-20 years ago dykes or ugly and most likely would be the one shitting themselves when they would encounter an actual masculine/tomboy or gender non conforming woman and she doesn't look like their based animays.

To be real with you, you quite often bring the conversation about abortion and Churches/Tradsphere being shit into threads where there's zero relation between these topics which results in slapfights and derailment of the thread, which can get really frustrating, especially when you already have threads where you can debate others on those topics as much as you want.

Same. the People that can only enjoy the pieces of art they see themselves in are missing the point, but so are the people that say there is NO use or enjoyment in seeing yourself represented. a big part of art is exploring realities different than yours, but also exploring your own.


On tomboys, I absolutely agree that many that “grow out of it“ do it due to shame. I think the natural progression is to keep being tomboyish or develop your style into something more personal that may adopt SOME stereotypically feminine things but reject others. Thats what happened to me, anyways.

The biggest tell in the tomboy discourse (lol) is that they can't give examples of real women who may be into sports, alternative music, outdoorsy things, bodybuilding, whatever. It's all (cookie-cutter) anime girls or TV show characters. If they do post a real woman she's not even an actual "tomboy", she's completely gender conforming with muscles. And an "e-whore"! Surprise! It's all porn and cartoons the whole way down. A think piece probably has to be done on how online trad-men fetishize autistic women in the same way they do tomboys. I'm not convinced some of the Christians in there really believe any of it; a lot of them are rather mean-spirited. I think they just took the woman-hating parts and that part in Leviticus and decided it was cool to just go around trolling people in the name of Jebus.

Every once in a while he makes a genuinely funny comic. I’d even add him to the webcomics I check regularly if that was all it was. But he never fails to follow up good comics with the most retarded breed of antisemitism, or incel misogyny, and other things like that.

In that case, he should be pissed at reportfags. I can only see reporting being justified in the case of porn or scat or some sort of vile shit being posted, or legitimate spam. Instead, it's rightoid moidlets getting pissed their echo chamber has been mildly disrupted, so they chase you around like orbiters to engage in low IQ arguments instead of ignoring.
