Story time! This reminded me of a time I was at a restaurant with my boyfriend. At the table next to ours was a man and a woman on a date (I assume). They looked like they were in their late 20s and were well past their first drink. They were talking pretty loud. Both seemed like they were having a good time. Then the man asks the woman if she has ever dated more than one person at the same time ( I paraphrase here). She says "no, do you?". He says "yeah I find it necessary because so many women are a no after the first couple of dates". She is, understandably, uncomfortable but asks "don't you find it hard to get to know a person if you are seeing other people?"

(at this point my boyfriend and I couldn't decide if we wanted to leave, or if we wanted to stay and listen to how the conversation went... we stayed).

The man answers "not really". Awkward silence. The woman tries to change the subject. He later asks if she wants to come over.

They left the restaurant before we got our meal. I hope this woman stopped seeing this man because he seemed like a bad idea.
