There does not exist one single psychologically normal adult male in our entire species who is big into anime. Not one. There is nothing wrong with showing one's trans awareness and keeping in mind their mental and sexual health by providing them a friendly reminder it's the time to dilate so they aren't behind their shedule. In case of this green haired pfp one, with a broken bottle.

My mom will most likely be retiring earlier than planned to take care of a relative's infant, because they can't afford childcare or for one parent to stay home. This will be a huge sacrifice for my mom, who loves her job (teaching) and loves the social interaction and busy schedule. She told my dad she's concerned that she will get into a depressive slump while home all day with this infant and all my dad could talk about was how great it will be for her to get the chance to relax at home and how she'll have so much time to cook and clean and exercise and come visit him for lunches near his work.

If I'm being extremely gracious he's trying to cheer her up, but who is cheered up by the idea of cooking and cleaning?

It appears your dad has never cared for an infant... he thinks she will have MORE time? She will get to relax?? Sooo delusional.

Hope your mom is gonna be ok, that's a huge responsibility and stress to take on for someone of retirement age.
