I love men chimping out about fake/misleading stats on dating apps. The latest is 85% of ALL WOMEN ONLY WANT TO DATE TALL MEN - not true, this is of the women using dating apps, which makes up 20-30% of these platforms (including bots and fake profiles/catfishers). I saw a reel on my socials of a women throwing a drink in a man's face and storming off. Men in the comments -- with hundreds, sometimes thousands or even tens of thousands of likes -- were all agreeing that this was criminal assault and she deserved retaliation of getting knocked out for it. Remember that these are the stoic, rational, unemotional, logical protectors relentlessly sucking off Marcus Aurelius. Clearly the minor embarrassment of a drink on your shirt (almost certainly caused by a piggish come-on, insult, or unsolicited touching) is worth the "accountability" and "consequences" of severely hurting or even killing a woman. I say killing, too, because Redditors are quick to say that you shouldn't engage in dumb barfights because a poorly-timed sucker punch can easily kill someone by accident, but clearly all's fair when it's a small woman doing the "damage."

Tbh, that's what really pulled me out of my flower-crown "c'mon, we should treat men and women the same!" happy-go-lucky innocence of my younger years. Subs like r/pussypassdenied, comments, etc. that you can find on Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, even the Farms opened up my eyes to how badly even "normal", seemingly harmless nerdy men are looking for the right opportunity to hurt a woman, or rejoice over seeing a woman hurt. And if they're not openly admitting to it, they're quietly liking messages or commenting to support those who do. A good example of this were the murders of Louisa Jespersen and Maren Ueland. If your first response to seeing women get brutalized and beheaded on camera is to smugly laugh and say, "Stupid bitches, that's what you get for hiking where you didn't belong, I bet you voted for this back home" ... Why the FUCK would I give you access to my time, body, emotions, or womb?

That’s even worse. The word ロリコン is such a retarded case of double moid think if you look at the etymology of it. It is very similar to how western paedophiles like to use "Child Lover" or "Minor Attracted Person" to get away from the social stigma of paedophilia (which I do realise is different over there, Japan has such a weird relationship to 'youth'...). Matt Walsh’s whole “what is a woman” thing, for instance, was something I remember being used copiously by radfems before any conservative picked it up.

Back in the day, as Null has mentioned, no one was talking about the transgender ideology. While conservatives never liked transgenderism, they made no distinction between ‘T’ and ‘LGB’, and their old arguments against both were the same. It’s unnatural/ it’s against the Bible.
This was just too weak of a rebuttal to do any damage against the trans movement, considering that one of its defining features is an infinite stream of bullshit rhetoric.

Ground zero for the trans movement’s diarrhea explosion was the lesbian community. So naturally, intelligent radfems were the first to really dissect the myriad reasons trans shit was a plague; what caused it, how it affected people, and what would happen if it continued to spread. These are the ideas which have now been co-opted en masse by conservatives/men, evident in the manner that anti-trans arguments still focus heavily on the movement’s impact on women’s spaces– something that conservatives didn’t really GAF about before. (A very similar thing has happened with anti-porn discussion, but I digress)

I never expected radfems to get ‘credit’ for anything (and idk if it really matters, anyway). The reason is in the name: they are radical feminists, and therefore, not marketable towards the mainstream. JKR is probably the closest we’ll get.
I was, at least, pleasantly surprised that transgenderism had the side effect of making some right-wing oriented men more amenable to feminist ideas, and aware of the difference between “libfem” garbage & genuine women’s issues. Considering how are men with some cluster disorders able to misunderstand and twist meanings of anything you say in hardly imaginable and unexpected ways, it's not a far stretch for them to believe that a slightest disagreement and critique are literal violence, hatred and evil and "has to be dealt with accordingly". Now, put that together with autism and inability to see women as individuals. If one shows a trace of, say, narcissism and/or paranoid disorder, expecting any earthly logic in their behaviour is unsafe.

It was so transparently just a ploy for him to publicly humiliate her. The case was complete bullshit from an actual legal standpoint because he sued over an oped in which she calls herself a "public figure representing domestic abuse". She never explicitly mentioned him or anything about their relationship in the article, so it is not libel by the most simple standard - claiming to be "a public figure representing domestic abuse" is not the same as making a false, damaging, specific claim against Depp. It is literally a fact that she was being discussed as such in the media.

Depp hired some great (at doing their job) lawyers, you'd think if they had anything real to go off of, they would use that as the basis for their lawsuit. They never dug into why the op ed itself was defamatory because legally they had no real argument, they just wanted a fun circus of dirty laundry to shut Heard up. There's a good reason why Depp wanted cameras in the courtroom and Heard didn't.
