How do you guys get along with your Gen Alpha relatives? Was visiting my grandmother yesterday and my 10y/o cousin happened to be there, having stayed over the previous night. He pointed out my clothes and said that I used to dress "drippy" but now I've started to dress "swaggy" (did not elaborate). Apparently he's gotten two Victory Royales this week, which is pretty good for his age, I think. He was explaining to me the finer points of the Fortnite build system when his mother came to drag him away.

He hasn't hit the teenager rebellion stage yet so he's still copying zoomer culture which is sort of endearing. I hope he doesn't rot his brain out on YouTube Shorts or anything, but he seems pretty attentive, so I think he'll be OK. They grow up so fast -- it feels like just yesterday he got his first iPad... :')

Now that I watch the shitshow that is on Ruben Sim Derangement syndrome, there are unfortunately many brainwashed zoomers into degenerate stuff and leftist newspeak rules. But I still think there are many that reject these things.

Honestly, even these brainwashed zoomers seem a lot less dangerous and a lot more pathetic than their millennial counterparts.
 
The truth is that despite being quite young, mentally i am not very different from a late millennial, and I even have similar tastes to one; even as a child, I grew up with things that a millennial could identify with (sixth generation consoles, flip phones, CD's and DVDs, music and movies from the 90s and 2000s, etc.).

Also, I fucking hate TikTok and the broccoli haircut; it's ugly as fuck.

The issues go back way before either, but zoomers picked up the boomer narrative of blaming millenials for everything as a new "safe edgy" thing to call back on. OP kind of referenced this a little with the mention of being the "new boomers". However, they will never be a real boomer. tey have no FIRM HANDSHAKE they have no LIVABLE 9-5 WAGE JOB, they have no ECONOMIC SECURITY.
