If it dies, I hope you bring it back when(if) one of the SS13 remakes comes out. It being on a not-shit codebase should make it easier to pick and choose changes since it'll be less like an autistic rat's nest and more like steam workshop.

I haven't been an admin on ss13 before but after having multiple conversations with Quarxink ok the discord I'm fairly confident in my ability to use the admin tools to deal with shitters
 
The server went down for unknown reasons. It won't reboot itself via control panel. I don't think there's a clear understanding of who will be managing the server if I'm not involved. I'm not inclined to spend all of tomorrow fixing something that few people use and that I'm intending to close anyways.

I love this server. Whatever your call is, I'll respect it. A lot of people enjoy it, but I also know many have left because of the shitting; at some days it's unbearable. I don't think we have to keep up to date with /tg/ changes, since most of them are gay nerfs, but it would be nice if the community would code more to differentiate us from /tg/.

im making a morrowind mod to commemorate the station. I want to put the regulars in it, i would like people to dm me the characters and their prefered roles, I need enough people to make a faction and I don't remember everybody. I just want to do something until Jersh's next passion project.
 
Well I hope you have a change of heart and decide to keep the server up. I don't know much about the game yet but in the last three weeks I have had lots of fun playing
 
The server died because of a lack of good jannies and coders, SS13 seems to have a need for coders or else it'll eventually wind down. The jannies we did had were either only online twice a week, rejects from TG that claimed to get kicked out because "They didn't like me being racist", but in reality they were just shitmins. I also think Josh did a stupid when he locked the server into a singular map. (If I remember right it was his own autistic version of delta) Back to the coder issue, I have noticed that for any server to live longer than a month or two, it needs atleast two-three coders that can constantly deal with the BS they get from the upstream github and make their own changes. tl;dr bad jannies+no coders=dead server

Strelok is one of the many griefing faggots that is a total reject from every other server and just came here to fuck with us. Multiple times I have watched him completely kill the server down to 0 pop because he feels the need to fuck over and self antag everyone. Then, as soon as you call him out, he claims he was an antag even though I'm pretty sure 99% of you don't even know how to check if someone is an antag, and I have only seen an admin check it once. He also seems to act all overly nice and weird on the MATI discord despite being a total fucking asshole psycho ingame.

Never played SS13 until KiwiStation, all I can say is it was fun, and I enjoyed it while it was, never quite got down the controls but I loved playing janny. Thanks for hosting it.

We shouldn't even call him Murdoch Murdoch, he stole the name and identity from @Yato. He is Sterlok.

He was funny from time to time, but in the last couple of weeks he went through the roof with his shittery whichturned it into an annoyance instead of being funny

Man, I've been trying Bee and /tg/ and it doesn't do it for me anymore. Not only because Kiwi medbay was superior, but because of all the entitled trannies that have no idea what they're doing and still complain about you. I prefer dealing with shitters than with a catgirl complaining I cuffed him to the bed because he kept getting up mid surgery, at least kiwi shitters I can call them niggers.
