One of the absolute biggest draws of Goonstation for a lot of players, as well as the reason they outlived HUNDREDS of other servers, was their willingness to instantly yeet you for major dumbassery,. then post the CAPS LOK RAEG POSTTS from your "appeal" that only proved further your mommy needed to take away your computer. It was a massive deterrent to willful stupidity and it meant that you could be reasonably sure a round-ruining retard would be permanently gone by the next one.

I could actually, truly, put my head in my hands and weep at the sight of the folks who used to swing the banhammer like Mjolnir cucking out and chimping about "culture and administration" on the page that was pure comedy gold watching fools get 0wned.

...yeah, that sounds about right...from what little I can remember about the community at the time there was a tidal wave of spillover from Trump Derangement Syndrome and I thought "lol well I'll just check back in later".

I guess this is the result. God damn it. Now I wish we could run our own SS13 server specifically to give the middle finger to this bullshit.

Shiptest: Most fun you can have ingame right now.

However all of these except for one of the porn servers and lifeweb (splurt, ran by a furry nazi of all things) seem to be in a constant state of content policing.

McMeiler and some janny I don't remember since they fucked off after a month.
I currently still play on TeeGee since atleast terry is still LRP, despite no nigger words.

Pretty sure CEV Eris was a-okay with it. Provided that they haven't been conscripted yet.

For the umpteenth time, we already had a server run by Null once, it had a decent playerbase, and then faggots shit up the server so much in a short amount of time that most people stopped playing and Null decided to kill the server, and he's repeatedly stated he's not bringing it back.

If you want a Kiwi server, you make it and pay for it on your own dime.

Yeah, Kiwistation was enjoyable and fun for a while. But it just ended up becoming a designated 'Go here if banned everywhere else' server. Which meant we got some fun veteran players that were kicked out when the Tranny-Abwehr took control; but also we got absolute shitstains as well.

Just a theory, but could the coomer to tranny pipeline from Seth-tide culminate in an attitude shift large enough to get servers to further change policy to sate the new influx of players? Used to love Bee until they focused on improving MRP and removing gamer words. I have no frame of reference as I got into SS through seth's video.

Either way, some of the public bans and appeal reasons are funny to read.

Unrelated, I have an idea for a 10 - 20ish people server, shorter rounds, etc. I wonder how that would work... I know SS13 works with 40-60 people, but I wonder if people would be interested to try...
