When the unrobust come to MRP, they get their asses handed to them (literally if it's a tg port), they ahelp and nothing happens, then crawl back to Furry Frontier or Citadel.

I played on a server where admins tried to 'appeal' to these people; greenshifts where people would cause chaos ended up with the most bans, and it pretty much weeded out all the LRPers. What resulted was a server of autistic crybabies who would report even as little as a shove, and admins would have to constantly watch the servers because these assholes would report every single little rule break. It was really not fun if you wanted to do anything than do your shitty job. Was really not fun to play and it really felt like walking on eggshells.

There is, like, at least 4 different servers that come to mind as you explain this and each and every last one was high traffic at one point. Probably still are, too.

Not sure about Fulp and Yog, but Bee definitely is the case.

tg recruited these spiteful people who somehow got into power and corrupted it from within.

Pretty sure being micro-managed by a stuck-up admin is a quit-never-come-back moment for most of the community.

Antags are the most direct form that conflict takes. But it can also be a spiteful doctor refusing to help someone, and the person attacks the doctor. This. I've enjoyed rounds that lasted just 10 minutes (revs) to rounds that have lasted hours such as extended rounds where no default antags are chosen. Even the latter, shit falls apart as a lynch pin is occurred by a engineer slipping on a janitors puddle, a clown or mime breaking into a department to take something to mess with like a chemistry machine, a HoS getting frustrated and abuses his power just for the Captain to ask him to step down and he refuses, or just a random event occurring like space vines, meteor shower ect causing the station to actually fall apart and the crew working together. The basic concept of SS13 is to survive which use to give so many servers their own twist or variation of it. I always enjoyed the sweet spot in the center and thats what /tg/ use to be. Not too much RP like Baystation and not too much loose anarchy no rules where people just random kill each other at the start like Noxstation (an infamous server in 2012-2014). Like a timed running gag that leaves you in tears of laughter in many unforgettable rounds just because the entire station is a Rube Goldberg machine and each of the 40-90 persons actions sets it in motion in microscopic ways that build up into this random variation where each round is different from the last.

Odd how this person was compelled, in some fashion or another, through some means or another, to dig through github specifically to find Null's involvement on /tg/station and make a callout post over old news.

It was only two years ago when you could run around the servers yelling nigger and griefing everyone, and get away with a light slap on the wrist and a "if you keep being annoying, I will smite you".

Fuck tranny jannies.

Maybe that's sseth's fault. Maybe it was his video that caused trannies to become aware of yet another game they haven't infested yet.

Ssethtide was a net neutral in my opinion, it shit up the public list for a while but it also replenished the player base. a lot of those guys stuck around and became pretty nice regular players. Tranny Jannies were coming sooner or later as the rust theorem states “all longstanding autism projects will be filled with whatever degeneracy is popular at the moment” and today that happens to be the trans. As for why tides suck, all new players get banned from at least 1 server before they understand the difference between socially acceptable funnies and murder you just don’t notice it because word of mouth trickle is slow enough.

Also apparently the bwoink site is dead so that’s news I guess
