Honestly that's my biggest concern with this server longterm, I'm okay with things being a little looser than the other stations rule wise, but if it just turns into a weird space for people to just larp out their sociopolitical beliefs it'll get real cringe real fast.

VG is weird, it forked from an earlier version of the game. I can't remember if it was originally super early proto TG code or super early Goon code (my gut instinct says it was goon), but it kinda went its own way as a weird mixture of the two after it forked from which. Its got its plusses and minuses, graphically its not amazing, but a lot of the old recipes work there still I think, and its got some features like sticking people up with guns you don't find anywhere else.

It also has a more " " realistic " " atmos system, where decompression is fast and explosive. In TG atmos leaks are like a slow trickle out of the breech, in Goon it happens much faster but generally is still much like "pouring a liquid out of a container." In VG, if you breech the hull or fucking play around with external airlocks like an excitable chimp, you're going flying off your feet hard and fast, and going to end up with broken bones or a one way trip into the inky black void. Its funny to watch people try to do stuff like break into the armory externally like they would on TG and it all go horribly wrong for them. I think Unitystation also works atmos like this.

ZAS on /vg/ is the best. And the worst.
Getting stun locked in random hallways is no fun, but there’s nothing like blowing open a hole and watching everyone fly off into deep space.

I thought that's what insert latest fallout RP server here was for.

Also real chads use baycode and watch as eveyone dies of internal bleeding because you need an actual fucking medical degree to understand their weird medbay system.

Its as if the entirety of TG coderbus and every coderbus orbiter sporting "TWANS WIGHTS UWU" trash cried out at once, and then were suddenly silenced.
If you can make it your mission to "re-distribute actual fun" to the codebase Ill write you in the ballot for 2024.
