Medical borg is not a great job to learn medicine, they lack a LOT of tools needed, they only have surgical tools and a hypospray with various drugs you'd need to 1 by one inspect.

They also lack defibrilators, so they can't revive people; which is 99% of the medical workload on the kiwi server

Defib can be added to mediborg is an upgrade and you should sexually harass the roboticists unthil they give it to you.

I second the return of greyshirt only assistants, with the addition of giving them back their maint access. The random color jumpsuit PR was addded to "make the detective's job easier" despite the fact that people often played detective like regular sec officer with a revolver that's slighty better then the disabler and TG rounds are frantic enough that half of the station is dead by the moment you analyze a fingerprint or blood splatter.

Felinids are not enabled for user selection. Greys are antags and that would cause confusion.

Considering adding an option to spawn as a prisoner and just having every prisoner be a felinid, so it's immediately obvious if you see a cat girl that they're a prison escapee. Gives ghosts something to do. My concern is how this would work IC, where they would spawn, when, and if they'd just consider themselves antags who need to break out.

I would recommend you spawn them in the Gulag prison on lavaland, not the station's. The reasons for this is many:

• It is relatively easy to escape from perma if you know what you are doing. In my experience, it would take like anywhere from 10 - 20 minutes to engineer a simple escape via space-walking.
• Security does often not give a shit about perma prisoners. The vast majority of the time, my obvious attempt at escaping was met with no response whatsoever.
• Security is a busy job, and in some cases the workload can be extreme. Giving security another thing to worry about may impact their response time to antags negatively.
• If the perma is broken, it takes time and effort to fix the hole and ensure the re-imprisonment of the felines. If you have to do this every 10 - 20 minutes due to some absolute dedicated asshole it may get tedious.
• Sometimes, random events can produce a security breach in perma. Things like space-carp and random meteorites can and will break the windows of perma open.
• In the event of metagamers or shitters, they can simply break out the felines themselves.
• Nearly all of the prisons DO NOT have maints. Why is this a problem? Two words: Radiation storm. It's a bit unfair to respawn as a perma felinid right into a unescapable radiation wave, develop teleportitis and then teleport right into space.

Now, why is the lavaland gulag better than perma? Well:

• The only random event on lavaland is the ash storms, ensuring that external factors of escape are kept to a mininum.
• The entire prison is surrounded by lava: Good luck getting over that and surviving!
• The only safe way the felinids have to escape the gulag is the security gulag vessel - that starts at the station. This ensures that only security or AA/Hacker assistants can reliably sent down the vessel and give the felinids a way to escape. In the case of unauthorised assholes, this vessel is behind a entire security force.
• If a felinid somehow manages to get through the lava and survive, they are gonna have to content with lavaland fuana and recurrent ash-storms in order to even reach the station. Assuming the miners don't kill them first.
• Even if they somehow got to the miner shuttle and get back on the station, they will have to contend with the entire population knowing that they are a escaped prisoner.

These suggestions will hopefully reduce the amount of prisoners actually setting foot on the station and the amount of furries and metagamers trying to break the felinids out.

After 3 days I've gotten my R&D shit out onto Github.

In brief,
1. The RD Console has been modernized as a TGUI app. This breaks the deconstructive analyzer, which is fine because it was already broken.
2. The Research and Development app can be found on the bridge, public R&D console, and the RD's personal computer by default. It can also be downloaded on a tablet if a Head's ID card is in it. Any head can queue research from their department now.
3. Research is now a queue instead of being a pool of points spent once someone thinks of doing it. You can queue, for instance, T4 parts at minute 0 and go about your business.
4. RD Servers do something now. When at an optimal temperature (40C or below in an environment with 1 bar of atmos), they open a parallel research slot for queued tech. Each server is 50% slower than the prior. i.e. 50/25/12.5/6.75 with 4.
5. RD Servers will automatically pick a random, available technology to queue and will never stay idle as long as there's something available to research.

Has Malf AI been disabled as an antag? I played atleast 20 AI rounds and haven't gotten Malf AI not even once.

Also, after the R&D update, the AI cant research any shit via the research console in Brig anymore
