So, I've set up a medicine farm that produces two types of pills. The first contains 25u of Strange Reagent and 25u of Omnizine, the second contains 24u of Earthsblood and 26u of Mannitol.

If you feed a dead body(NEVER A LIVING ONE) the first pill, it should bring it back to life and sometimes restore a noticeable amount of brute and burn damage. I haven't gotten a chance to test it, but after looking at the code I believe it should also restore all organs to full, unless the brain if it's taken crazy amounts of damage. It should also de-husk, even ling husk. It won't regen limbs or work if unable to feed for some reason, like missing a head or something. Keep in mind there will probably be damage from whatever killed the patient in the first place as well as residual Strange Reagent in the patients system after reviving, which will cause brute and burn damage. This is countered by the large amount of Omnizine in the pill and the second pill.

The second pill should heal 200 brute 200 burn 117.5 suffocation 117.5 toxin 37.5 cellular 117.5 stamina 35 brain over the course of 60 cycles(it's kind of slow until cycle 26, then it dramatically picks up). If you are wondering why there are 24u of Earthsblood, it's because it overdoses at 25u. Earthsblood causes brain damage, but the Mannitol counters it for a net gain. Earthsblood enforces pacifism on the patient while it's in their system and makes the screen have a trippy rainbow effect. It also makes you spout a lot of weird dialogue.

Although the second pill could be used in pretty much any situation where someone needs healing, I think they are most effective when used together on a dead body. Immediately using them one after another on a dead person should revive them with all organs repaired and back to fully health after a minute or two. It doesn't hurt that the Omnizine in the first pill would heal the patient by 0.5 brute/burn/suffocation/toxin a tick, in addition to what the Earthsblood does, and there are 250 ticks worth in the pill. Caution should be made not to overdose the patient by giving them too much more Omnizine any time soon.
Good job. Unfortunately no one uses medicine

Can the worn insulated gloves in Charlie's western engineering section (near the solars) get replaced with normal ones? It's kind of a pain in the dick to restore power otherwise if you spawn there.

Also mabye make all of the off station respawns always active every round so that if people want to fuck around with being a plantman or be banished to the resort or whatever want to all the time, they can.

There's an issue with the lavaland ones at least since they take up the same spaces on the randomized map. I think the only one which doesn't is the syndicate bioweapon base.

Holy shit! That medicine combo would make parademics useful and worth playing

I wish R&D was as cozy as medbay seems
We’re all autistic and only leave our offices if we’re dying/killing someone/need something
The xenobio office is the coziest in science because both people there are gamers trying to make something stupid and fun before the round ends.

I've reached the true pinnacle of chemistry. I did this with quite a bit of dilly dallying
this build took about 700k metal

Do what I do: stop caring about greentext and create a bunch of tomatoes/vines/bath salts to kill everyone for you.

Don't kill out in the open, stoopid.

Drag people into maintenance, or disable cameras before you begin giving your target the SUCC. Also don't forget to remove your target's headset. Don't want him screaming "hhelp rd ling" into the radio while you're stealing his jeans.

I kinda wish the map had more opportunities for industrial accidents. More exposed wiring, dangerous machinery, conveyors and launchers that send crates flying across high traffic hallways, mail chutes right near where people stand when they're working, that kind of thing.

Roll Station Engineer or CE and create your own workplace hazards. Or, y'know, tide your way into access to the means to create your own workplace hazards.

Making your own fun is all a part of the fun.

What are the easiest ways to set things up to create a singularity or a tesla ball?

What are the easiest ways to set things up to create a singularity or a tesla ball?
For singulo it's what I mentioned. Filling the SM chamber to overpressure. For Tesla it's easiest to buy one, but you can also delam an overcharged SM into tesla. Just shoot it with tons of emitters and don't let it cool.

Singularity is e-z p-z if you can somehow manage to get atmos and engi all to yourself for like 10 minutes. Perhaps the engineers all mysteriously disappeared or something?

Replace the SM chamber input pumps with volume pumps, disable the siphons. Ensure the SM doesn't get cooled. Set every pump in atmos to max and feed it into SM.

Tesla is similar but don't replace the pumps with volume pumps. At 25% it'll start shooting beams out.

If you're non antag you could reconfigure the SM chamber to accommodate the shield projectors and keep the singularity contained.

>be me, spawn as engi ling
>unrobust AF
>set up SM in a way to let lord singuloth free as easily as possible
>engi is empty, engi security is afk or something at his console
>use RCD to wall off engi, decide I'll kill/absorb sec and then singulo time
>disable all the consoles in CE room, figure that will stop SM from tattling
>break into engi sec room, he immediately starts running around
>manage to blind sting and stab him a few times with kitchen knife I stole earlier
>stunned
>play dead
>sec realizes he's trapped in engi
>get stripped of everything useful, buckled to chair
>evolve acid spit, get free and start slapping sec uselessly, never managing to blind sting
>die/revive at least 3 more times and the cycle repeats
>he finally clues in to destroy my corpse
>starts carrying me to SM next time I die
>hit revive the exact moment he's about to throw me in, SM sucks him in instead
>put on rad suit
>HoS or someone busts in, I try to lie but it's obvious I'm a ling
>BennyHill.mp3 as HoS and an engi chase me around SM room
>manage to set a single coolant pump to "off" before I'm subdued
>body thrown into SM
>At least 3 people try to fix loop. Monitor by turned off pump is going absolutely nuts, no one turns the pump on
>SM delams in like 4 minutes because of volume pumps
