Yesterday I was tipped off at the beginning of a round that somebody was out for my blood. Went full schizo, trying to avoid danger and all, only to be murdered by my very own friend, Kai Burris, at the end of the round. Guess you can't trust anyone in spess.

For anyone looking to learn Medbay and/or Chemistry, the library now has three useful books for you. These books should be in the Reference section. If you can't find them on the shelves, you can order them from the external database using the library computer on the Curator's desk.
  • WHICH CHEMS TO MAKE - Dyn's chemical list, copied from here. Now it will still be accessible even if the forums are down.
  • Medbay Setup - How to set up the Medbay, Hans style.
  • Medbay Tips 1.0 - Tips and tricks for Medbay stuff. This is the first version, more might be added later. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Currently emagged firebots are only a minor annoyance since they spray you with water. Please make them spray fire instead.
 
I've been booted like 1,5 month ago. I'm once again asking to turn my ban from perma to temp. I'll be a good boi and stay out of viro.

we kinda need more admins, last couple weeks there's rarely been any on when I've been playing (US late morning->afternoon) and there's these random faggots that keep joining over and over on different keys and murderboning until they get killed

anyways I volunteer, byond key is soy2

basically, here are the issues with the server

  1. I started it because I wanted to enjoy SS13 again without dealing with trannies, but as an admin I can't play and enjoy the game.
  2. Without me playing, the server is mostly unmoderated.
  3. I am too busy to moderate.
  4. The pop has tanked because there are no admins online ever, which has killed its traction.
  5. I wanted to fork out bad changes from /tg/ upstream, but because of how rapidly /tg/'s upstream changes, even maintaining that is a considerable amount of work.
  6. Dealing with upstream means dealing with /tg/ trannies and is incredibly mentally taxing and circularly defeats point #1.
Unless anyone has any objections I'll probably close it by the end of the month.

Please no delete, its the only SS13 server I can have fun (except when there is the shitter problem or people metagrudging...) on and have not been banned from.
I'd admeme for the lowpop hours I play but i have no idea when it comes to admin tools, nor am I very knowledgeable on the game.

It was fun at the beginning when there were 2-3 admins on and the server had a pop of 20-40, which would probably not have happened if the server were private. But its true that there was a time when alot of Hippie refugees came just shit up the place and make the game less fun in general.

I wanted to make a birthday cake on this server today, but i guess i should have shilled it harder
 
I play most nights with like three people and am having a lot of fun still. Would be playing right now if there wasn't an admin lock. I totally get that it's not worth your while to keep things running for a small handful of people though, and I'm another person who hasn't played outside of Kiwi and probably isn't experienced enough to admeme.

Can Null or any other Admeme on the server fix the "There is an administrative lock on entering the game!" problem?

In the future you should make an offshoot of older builds or more obscure servers. Nothing is more annoying than when the servers finally back to a nice player population and then 5 people decided to shit on it until everyone leaves
Edit: If you want i'd say go for a final push to get admins on, appoint a nerd to headmin it then never get involved with administration again yourself from there. Same with a cooder
